It is used in conjunction with a tablet, however there is a specific stand that has to be used with it in order for the magic to really happen. I do not have the special stand, so I can only speak to the book in this product. It is all Disney Princess, with a special marker and eraser cloth so the child can draw on started character picture, building their own scene and coloring as they like. There is an app to be downloaded on the tablet to go with it, but without the stand it doesn't really do much good. Looks cool, probably fun, but without forking out more cash for some art connected with screen time, I can't say if it's with it.Freesamplequeen

I have a 6 and 8 yr old and they absolutely love it. It's very interactive with them I'm going to be getting more sets so they have alittle more to choose from like the learning ones.
