Great tasting and easy to use canned mixed berries
I love these canned mixed berries, they taste great and are easy to use for many different foods and meals such as breakfast and desserts. The can is a pop top so it's easy to open which makes it a great alternative for picnics and camping but are great right at home in the kitchen. The first thing I made with theses berries was pancakes. They were the perfect complement, I just spooned a little on the top of the pancakes with a little bit of their juice and it was perfect, not too sweet and no bitterness at all. they turned out to be a special treat with no mess to clean up and very little prep needed. I thought these canned berries made by Oregon were better than most frozen berries that I've tried and think they are the next best thing to using fresh berries. And as I mentioned, they are perfect to take on a picnic or camping or any other activity where mixed berries are needed. Try them, you won't be disappointed.

Can fruit
It finally arrived. Had a neighbor bring the back to me. Apparently whoever the carrier was can't read! I've just opened and used it last night. Great variety of fruit and tasty for being in a can. Mostly I purchase frozen fruit for that fresh flavor when can't can't get fresh fruit.

    Good Mixed Berries
I've never had fruit from a can before so I was so surprised when I started eating them how much I enjoyed them. There were strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and I think raspberries. You can cook with these berries but I like eating them straight from the can.

    Delicious filling
I used my Oregon Fruit Mixed Whole Berries in Light Syrup as an easy filling to create a delectable homemade fruit tart. The berries tasted pretty fresh and were juicy and firm. I love the light syrup the berries are packed in, the syrup wasn't too sweet, heavy or cloying, so I reserved some for later use to make a glaze. I really was satisfied with the flavor of these berries and how lovely my tart came out. I will definitely be using this for other dessert recipes in the future.

    Great for pies or cobblers
I made a crisp with my can of mixed berries. With an oatmeal streusel topping. Very good eating warm with vanilla ice cream on top. I'm looking forward to making a pie next with them. They have a great taste to them for being a canned product. I would recommend to anyone wanting to try some canned fruit. This was my first time trying this brand or mixed berries and my whole family loved the dessert I made.

    Tastes great
This is my first experience with canned berries. I've never had anything other than fresh or frozen berries, so I was skeptical. Now that I tried Oregon Specialty Fruit Mixed Berries, I can confirm that this is an excellent option and everyone should have a can in their pantry. The syrup in the can is a mix of water, a little cane sugar, and the juice from the berries. I was worried that it was going to be grossly sweet, like corn syrup, but it was not. I used the entire can in my snack cake recipe. The berries were soft, but the flavor was still there. The only complaint that my family had was from the blackberry seeds, there were a lot of seeds in my cake that messed with the texture. I would opt for the blackberry free option (if available), in the future.

    Great Pie Fruit
I made a pie using one can of the Oregon fruit. I wasn't sure what size pie pan to use so a chose a large 10-inch pie pan. That pan was a little too large for the one can of fruit. Two cans would have been a better fit. There was a large amount of juice in the can with the berries. One of the recipes from Oregon fruit said to drain the juice from the berries before making the pie filling but, I couldn't bring myself to waste that delightful juice. The berries do contain cane sugar but, they aren't too sweet. I wanted them a little sweeter so I added a ¼ cup of Stevia. The next time I will use a standard size pie pan and two cans of fruit with some of the juice.

    Oregon Fruit, Mixed Berries Review.
Delicious berries, not too sweet and taste all natural. Would be really great for baking or smoothies, or even great to top ice cream with or eat as is. The strawberries are soft and they are all easy to eat and taste great. Smell great and don't leave a bad after taste. I recommend these berries to others.

    Good quality for canned
I like the pop top on these Oregon canned mixed berries. No can opener required. Makes them perfect to keep at camp or in the RV to add into pancakes. There's also no high fructose corn syrup in this product which impressed me. The ingredients are simple: blackberries, strawberries, blueberries, water and cane sugar. Being canned, the berries are mushy and don't have the vibrant color of fresh, but they taste good. I had intended to try them on top of cheesecake ice cream and they never made it that far because I kept sneaking berries as I did other things in the kitchen. I feel the quality is better than other canned fruit I've tried. Unfortunately, there seemed to be more liquid than berries in the can. Almost 2/3 of a cup of syrup. You could thicken it and use it in recipes, but if you don't, it's money wasted. I would prefer to see more berries for the price.
