    Don't buy this brand.
This oil arrived timely, and I attempted to open it immediately. The cap did not break away from the attachment ring when I twisted. I needed a knife, scissors and small pliers to rip away the attachment ring and open the bottle. When I went to decant the oil, it smelled like plastic as well as tasting rancid, although the Ex date was for January of 2024. Worst of all, since the bottle was open, I can't return it for a refund. I have purchased grapeseed oil before, but not this brand. I won't purchase this brand again. I would give it no stars except that this page doesn't permit that.

    STRANGE TASTING GRAPESEED OIL
Taste like it's half mixed with olive oil? Green color instead of clear like most grapeseed oils I've had. Almost celebrated when I completed the bottle. Will never buy again.

    Poor Quality
I bought the Olivari brand because I happened to be in WalMart and didn't want to make an extra stop at Aldi for my regular brand. Disappointed but I'll use up the rest of this huge jug with no plan to buy again. (Aldi brand is currently 1¢/oz cheaper, btw) This brand works ok in baked goods and salad dressings but it does have a stronger, almost EVOO, taste and an off putting, pale green color. No good if baking a light colored, delicate flavored cake, but ok in zucchini bread. ZERO STARS as a frying oil! This has a VERY low smoke point and scorches easily. Do NOT use this brand as a frying oil. As comparison, my Aldi brand is clear, flavorless and can make popcorn without a hint of smoke.

    Low smoke point
This oil says its good for frying but everytime I try that, it starts to smoke on a medium to high gas setting. I will use up what I have by making a salad dressing or for baked goods.

A great oil for all your cooking needs.
I don't like using olive oil all the time. So Grapeseed Oil is a great choice. It is good for cooking with higher temperatures, air frying and cakes.

grapeseed oil should be flavorless and odorless!
rancid! bought this at my local walmart. love grapeseed oil because its flavorless and odorless and can be used at a relatively high smokepoint. made brownies and they tasted off. made pancakes and threw them away. smelled and tasted my grapeseed oil and its rancid with a best by date of 12/23. it smells and tastes more like EVOO! back to pompeian brand for me!
