Excellent product
It worked. The last cable we bought (a knock off with a different store) broke within 2 days. This one has been working well for a week with a few hours of play time each day. Although the Oculus brand is more expensive, I would say it is worth the investment.

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/30/2021It's very pricey, but it may be your best betAt $80, the price of this cable is ridiculous. It should actually be packaged with every new Quest 2 unit. There are regular USB3 - to - USBC cables on the market you can buy with the 90° USBC end for much cheaper, but they don't offer the same data transfer rate as the OQ cable. Most copper-based USB cables top out at 10 feet because that's the recommended maximum length for a passive (a.k.a. non-powered) USB 3.1 cable. Past that, the signal begins to degrade. Oculus Link tries to justify its cost by offering fiber optic cable with parallel copper line for charging and by being able to do this for a whole 16 feet. Unfortunately, Oculus Link can't keep Oculus Quest 2 charged as it burns to much energy too quickly. It will recharge your OQ2 when you stop using it and let it recharge, however. The box doesn't come with a USBC adapter for older computers with USB3.0 and no USBC. My previous Nvidia RTX 2080Ti Black offered a USBC port, but my 3090FTW3 doesn't. That means you'll have to buy an adapter if you intend on connecting over USB3.0 and that may cause issues with transfer speed or charging. Oculus Link is a great add-on if your PC has dedicated USBC with charging through your GPU card, but it may be problematic for others. Fortunately, Oculus Quest 2 works fine (although not as fast) if you use standard USB3.0 cable.Bigtruckseriesreview
