smells like old and musty carpet.
I used to love purchasing from Swanson health, been their customer for almost 6 years now and I guess it's time to find a new seller. cause lately the peppermint smells horrible. its smells like sewer. i used to mixed it with water during summer and spray it over me to cook me off but the smell is unbearable. it doesn't smells fresh or minty anymore it smells like a dump cloth. $17 peppermint from this shop is not worth it. so disappointed

    very hard to open
    The product itself was fine, but it took my husband and a set of heavy duty pliers to get the cover off. We have used this product before and not had this problem. This "batch" has some type of manufacturing issue with the cover.

    Great Rodent Repellent
    I have used this peppermint oil before from NOW to repel mice and it works great. Put about 5 drops onto a cotton ball and stuck them in the holes around my garage where mice were burrowing under the foundation. Can also be used indoors and it smells very nice. It came very well packaged with top on tight and bottle tightly wrapped in bubble wrap to avoid breaking or leaking. I recommend .

    Peppermint "You'll love it"
    I love peppermint oil, it works wonders on spiders. The whole house smells so good. You have to try it, every penny you spend it is worth it. Please get it at Walmart.com the best deals in town, no joke.

    The oil for many uses
    I have been using Now Foods Peppermint oil for years. I use it in cooking, baking, coffee, hot cocoa, insect bites, stress headaches and in a diffuser along with other Now oils.

    Great for many things.
    This is the best bang for your buck. I needed a large amount because I use peppermint oil for a lot of things but the main thing I use it for is as a rodent deterrent. I mix 10 drops in a spray bottle with water and spray my porch and under the hood of my Toyota (Toyota uses a lot based wiring insulation and the rodents are attracted to it). I also spray the currently used bath towels with this solution to keep the old towel smell at Bay. It works great as a fabric refresher and air freshener. This "now" brand peppermint oil says that it is not diluted and I believe it because it is strong. I will continue to buy this product as long as the price stays the same.

    This is a wonderful way to keep mice out of our motor home.
    We spray our lower compartment in our motor home every month with peppermint oil. This is a great way to keep mice out of our motor home. Now use this in our home. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
