So much fun!! Highly recommend
The first things that caught my eye were the size and quality. It's much larger than I expected. It seems very durable. No issues at all even after a few crashes and it still works great. You can tell it will last a long time. The USB cable makes charging easy and the battery lasts a long time. We have a large back yard and the response didn't change regardless if it was up close or far away. The remote has a long range and a fast response. This one is a winner in my book. If you are considering giving this as a gift I highly recommend doing so. It's very impressive in and out of the large box. It's easy to use plus it's so much fun!

It's fun, but the fun runs out of gas quickly.
So through the Spark Reviewer program, I received this product, New Bright RC 1:14 Radio Control Ford F-150 Baja Truck, 2.4 GHz USB. It's fun to play with and has realistic details of the real thing. All the bells and whistles but it come up really when the charging the built-in rechargeable battery. Having the USB connector for charging is a plus I would think. What I do not understand is that it takes a little over two hours to fully charge. The run time is only about 15 to 20 minutes. You would also need to supply your own USB wall adapter; this product does not include one. The transmitter uses two AA batteries that come in the package. I do however still recommend the New Bright RC 1:14 Radio Control Ford F-150 Baja Truck, 2.4 GHz USB. It's always fun, but the fun runs out of gas quickly.

    Very fun truck!
    My kids have a few different RC cars, so they were able to be helpful in writing this review. Per my 10 year old son (who is holding the RC truck in the photo), this is a really, really good RC truck, but could be better in some ways. He lists the pros and cons as follows. Pros: Size— it is a great size because it is small enough to play with in the house and big enough to use outside. By that he means that since it isn't a large RC, it doesn't bump into everything around the house and outside is large enough that it doesn't get high centered on every Little Rock outside. Turning— it has a good turning radius so you can turn sharp enough for the speed it goes. Some of the RC's go faster than they can turn. This one has a nice balance between the two. Remote— it has a simple remote that functions very well. Some of their other remotes are confusing or hard to keep good control of the vehicle. This remote is easy to keep control of the truck. Cons: Power— It isn't able to make it through grass almost at all and doesn't have the power to go over rocky terrain. It drives really well on cement and hard dirt with some small rocks and it has great power for indoor play! One of the things he didn't have an opinion on was battery life. I feel like battery life is pretty good! It lasts quite a bit longer in the house. Outside it needs to work harder and doesn't last as long. The kids have been playing with it in the kitchen for about 30 minutes and it is still going! They took it on a walk for a few blocks, including on our inclined street, and they said it kept its speed up and consistently for the entire walk. Once they got home it died, but they were happy that it kept up its power right until the end instead of gradually getting slower and slower. We are really happy with it!

    Awesome toy car
    First of all i was nicely surprised by its size it was bigger than expected, nicely designed and very lightweight. My boys are 5 and 7 and they both enjoy it. i love how simple the remote is, it only has 2 buttons, one for backward and forward the other one for left and right very simple. the remote need 2 AA batteries. the car itself has a battery and i like that it is permanently connected to the USB cord that is used to charge it. when you need to charge the car you just open the cap and unfold the USB cord. while charging there will be a red light when the charge is done that light will go off. the only thing i regret about this car is that the battery doesn't seem to last very long. I am planning to buy a second one so there will be no more fight over this one

    Fun to play with but not the best quality
    This RC truck looks really cool. The main difference is that this one doesn't use batteries. It has a compartment underneath with a USB cable you can plug into any phone charger, battery pack, laptop, etc to charge it up. This truck comes with a stick transmitter controller with two thumb joysticks. I've always preferred these controllers to the pistol grip. However, this controller feels very poor quality. The plastic is very cheap and it looks like it would break apart with one drop. The controller itself uses batteries (came with it). The RC connectivity to the truck works okay. It travels a decent distance and controls well. The truck itself has rubber tires that don't seem to fit onto the rims very well. The rear tires seem to wiggle around as the truck travels causing it to swerve right or left and rarely just straight. I've tried adjusting the tires to see if they maybe snap into the rim better but they don't. All in all, it's a cheap toy that's fun to play with but I don't expect it to last too long.

    A big hit with the kids
    The first thing I noticed was the package was easy to open. My son was able to get it open and mostly on his own. I was really glad it came with batteries so my kids could start playing with it as soon as it was done charging. The charge lasted much longer then I expected which was a very pleasant surprise. It is very fast as well as changes direction really quickly. Both my kids loved playing with this. The controls took a few minutes to figure out but we got the hang of it. Our house is small and has tiny rooms so I wish it could have been used outside instead.

    This thing is awesome!
    I have five kids ages 10 to 18 months. Anything that can keep them entertained for over an hour is a plus in my book. As soon as this came out of the box my 8, 6, and 4 year old played with it until it needed to be recharged. When I first opened it I wasn't impressed because of the lightweight plastic. It wasn't until I started to play with it that I realized how awesome it was. My kids took it outside and no lump or bump from rocks stopped it from going. This truck drives very smooth. I love that the usb is connected to the truck so that it doesn't get lost. Once you're done charging it, you just push the cord into a storage spot at the bottom of the truck and close it. I'm impressed with how precise the turn buttons are and the power this thing has. My kids love it and they keep wanting to play with it. My kids get bored easily and will stop playing with something after thirty minutes or less. This keeps them entertained. I did receive this item for free but now I will purchase maybe two more because my kids love it that much and have to share this one. This got my children off of gadgets for quite a while and anything that can do that for kids these days is worth buying. I should also mention the batteries are included for the remote which is always a plus.

    So much fun!
    The arrival of this remote control truck got everybody in the house so excited! It didn't take long for shipment and it was packaged very nicely. The truck is very light-weight. That made me wonder if it was able to handle some abuse from ramming into walls and such. Well, I inserted two AA batteries for the remote and turned the switch on (underneath the truck), and noticed that it turned on right away. It must have been charged before shipment, which is always a plus! There is a USB cable in a hidden compartment under the truck. My family started playing the truck and had races between each other and other old remote control cars. This New Bright truck was not only faster than the rest of our older model remote control cars, (keep in mind I did not charge it before first use), it was also able to make swift turns and climb over thick carpet, rug, and floor strips! I have yet allow them to play outside with this truck, but I think that it can also climb over rocks as well because the four large wheels have some bounce to it, maybe that's why it can go over all sorts of floor transitions so well? The description says that a fully charged truck can run for up to 2.5 hours, however, it only lasted a little over 2 hours for us, but again, I did NOT charge the truck before use. In the end, there were no scratches on the truck, even after continuously ramming it into walls and table and chair legs. A small piece of the sticker on the side got a little ripped, but that was after 2 hours of abuse! Amazing! We had a lot of fun racing this truck around the house.

    Wow it's nice and I love how it Chargers. It holds charge for a long time. Best remote control truck we had in a long time. We all had lots of fun. Very nice and definitely worth the money. Kids and adults will have lots of fun with it. I'm glad they sent me this to try out. We will be definitely be buying more for the kids. We played with it all day long.

    Has good remote control range 2.4 GH
    Pretty good looking truck has the mopar graphics that makes it look realistic it even has a spare tire in the rear. The truck has built in battery that is rechargeable with attached usb cable to wall, computer, or laptop. The remote takes 2 AA batteries that comes with the truck, remote control is gaming style. You can drive the truck forward and reverse and from left to right. It is 2.4 GH and has good strong radio signal. Really good for 6 year old.
