    The Nerf ECS-10 is a great mechanical autofeed blaster. This is the just the core without attachments which is very hard to find but you can get the complete ECS-10 package on line. My order was fulfilled by The Kids Warehouse with lightning speed.

    Great, but one cheap mod needed
    The gun did jam a lot when I got it, but I was able to glue a tiny plastic (polycarbonate) piece to the end of the magazine, and it stopped jamming. However, the magazine now only works with flywheel blasters.

    The jam clearing door doesn't stay shut and it doesn't work when its open. Also the blaster is very weak with fresh batteries.

    Can’t beat it for the price!
    Note: The ONLY thing in the box is the blaster (no darts or attachments) and it ships in ‘frustration free’ packaging - so it’s not ideal for a first-time Nerfer. That said, it is a great blaster! It performs very well - can handle a solid rate of fire (it is semi-automatic) and shoots pretty hard. It actually outperforms a stock Rayven and Stryfe!

    Not terrible, but the instructions could be better
    The instructions I received did not specify that 4 AA batteries were REQUIRED, only that they could be installed. All in all, for only being the base unit, it's not terrible. I already had some of the modular attachments from another Nerf gun, so I turned it into a faux sniper rifle.
