fun while learning
The National Geographic sensory science kit is a great way to help kids learn about how science works in a hands on technique instead of just reading facts in a book. Not only being able to feel and touch different kinds of texture but to see how sand and other items behave in different situations.

Fun and slimy
This kit is fun and a bit messy. Moldable sand and a variety of slimes are great for bored kids. It can be a little bit messy so the younger kids may need supervision.

    Cute gift
    Purchased for a Christmas gift but wound up giving as a last minute birthday gift. It was the favorite present that the kid got, my own kid didn't get to play with it so I don't know how fun it was.

    Fun With Learning
    This was so exciting to do with my boys. They each had fun taking turns playing with the different material and I was able to teach them about slime and everything else in the kit with the included educational notebook. I really like that they made this a hands on experience combined with education material explaining each substance. This is the perfect kit for us right now as we've been limited on what we can do and schools will be virtual. Overall, definitely recommend this for bonding time with children. It's something they will love!

    This is a great kit for little explorers! Fun for adults too! Instructions are clear and the suggestions for tips and tricks to make your own slime and stuff is a plus. The kit comes with everything you need. Just put a protective cover over your table for easy cleanup incase of a mess. The hydro sand is incredibly fascinating when adding water! The slimes and putty are great but my son wouldn't put down the moldable sand, he had a great time with the molds it came with which was the only small mess he made, easy to clean up and can be stored for use again and again! We love interactive learning making this kit a great buy, I would absolutely recommend this item for family time as well especially in this isolated time.

    Relaxing and fun
    This is a very entertaining and engaging sensory kit, good for all the members of my family, including my 4 yo. It brings different containers of slime, also sand, a tray with some molds and little tools to make figures with it. Everybody in my family likes it, it is a good way to relax, have fun and quality time together during this quarantine time. I would consider to purchase it again or give it a a gift.

    The National Geographic Explorer Science series Sensory Science Kit was fun for the whole family! My five-year-old thoroughly enjoyed this from the time the mailman dropped it off until the time she went to bed. There is a learning guide full of facts and information and also fun experiments to try. It also has DIY recipes to create your own slime. This kit includes color changing putty, purple liquid slime, blue snotty slime, natural play sand and hydrophobic sand. It also has a sand tray, a spoon, and 6 sand molds. I highly recommend this! It's fun and educational!

    The National Geographic Explorer Science Series Science Kit is Fantastic! The kit is fun for all ages above the age of three due to choking hazards. The kit includes a learning guide filled with detailed information on facts, and a few experiments to try. The kit includes: color changing putty enclosed in a container, purple liquid slime enclosed in a container, blue snotty slime enclosed in a container, hydrophonic sand enclosed in a container. The natural play sand arrives in a plastic sealed bag that is not resealable. I found that storing the sand in the tray included in the kit works great and can be stored in a gallon sized slider Ziploc bag. The kit also includes 6 sand molds, a clear cup for experiments, a stir stick, spoon, a very nice sized sand tray, and three instructional books with over 10 plus activities to do. The sensory science kit is very educational and entertaining. The kit would make a great gift for any child above the age of three, a teacher, or could also be a great addition to a home school class. The fun filled guided instructions are very detailed to make the experiments and utilize the items within the kit as well as simple household items. I like that the sands and slime can be used over and over after the experiments and do not need to be discarded. Also included in the kit are several recipes to make additional variations of slime. The sensory kit has been a lot of fun, educational, entertaining, and great for hands on sensory activities.
