Activities in doors for kids
My kids love science and anything you can do hands on projects. They enjoyed making these growing crystals. It was a bit messy of a project, also some of the larger ones did grow as big as we hoped for. In thin the end it was a fun project and kids enjoyed it.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/13/2021FUN, EDUCATIONAL, AND GORGEOUS!I mean, wow! My 10-yr-old daughter is getting into crystals and stones, so this was absolutely perfect!!! We had a blast making them, left them the full week, and they came out beautifully! IF you decide to make them all at once, and use a glass container, it works pretty well. I just had to use a hearing knife to go around the edges, before they would slide out. Definitely put them on newspaper or plastic, because the solution may crawl out over top of containers, but they are gorgeous in the end!rawfoods

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/10/2020Crystal funAs soon as the kids saw this kit, they were very excited and kept bugging me to complete. I wanted to make sure we had enough time to complete, so I kept putting it off. Got the table ready with bags (expecting an accident) and got everything out, read directions and off we went.. I can't believe how super easy it was and didn't take as much time as I thought it was going to. The kids 9 and 11 really enjoyed it. So we have our crystals growing... The directions to check the crystal every day. But these crazy kids are checking every 5 minutes and that is the most fun of it. Kind ofike watching your plant grow from a seed you planted. Great experiment and fun.Booma

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/05/2020Super cool kit for the whole familyThis kit is awesome my kids loved it and were very interested in growing the Crystals. It was very simple to do and kids helped with the whole thing they are proud of their crystal and really enjoyed it it has a led light bar that the Crystals can be displayed on it was a great kit to do with kids The kit has only 2 silicone cups to grow crystals but other than that it was excellent we had to do 2 growings to get 4 crystals it takes about a week to fully grow CrystalsKC

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/01/2020Great project for older kids! These were a fun and fantastic project for my 5 year old and I. They came out smaller than I expected but they were still just as beautiful. It came with 4 colors, purple, green, blue, and clear. The only drawback is the stand it comes with only has 3 spots rather than 4 so if you make them all at once like we did theres jo where to put the 4th. Speaking of the stand, its very lightweight. I was concerned at first but now that the crystals are done it hold them just fine. It changes to dofferent colors and also different brightness which is nice. I made 2 with the cups that came with the set and 2 in a pint jar as recommended. I RECOMMEND ISUNG A WIDE MOUTH JAR i used 2 regular mouth jars and i had to break one of the crystals in order to get out. Also, it actually started growing out of the cup and got onto my wall it was setting beside ehich was kind of wierd but it came right off. I sat mine in a window sill.BeccaM

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/25/2020Awesome Light up display baseThis crystal growing lab kit was so much for fun for myself and my children. It comes with detailed instructions so you feel confident but not overwhelmed. Since the kit provided 2 growing chambers we only grew 2 crystals to start, purple and blue. We used a tip from the book and covered the specimens for 24 hours. Our crystals grew in about 4 days. We were excited to put them on the light up display base and we were pleasantly surprised when we found that there were multiple colors and patterns of lighting available!! That made it even better! We are excited to try the GID (glow in the dark) and the green crystal as well. This kit also provided 4 genuine gemstone specimens along with detailed information in the learning guide. I feel that this could be used for a unit study if desired. We highly recommend this kit!!sleepysloth
