Fun
Fun project for kids. It's easy to put together and the kids love to fling things around their room.

Kids had a blast
The kids had a blast and really enjoyed putting it together then playing for hours after. I would have given it 5 stars but some of the pieces weren't as sturdy as the rest. It could have just been my boys. They still spent hours with this and randomly shoots something across the room LOL.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/29/2020Great for Potluck DishesIt looks a little overwhelming but the kit was easy for my three kids (10 11 13) to assemble on their own. It needed no tools and they didn't use glue. They laughed small household items with it too.MomofEight

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/20/2020Well made piecesMy son loves building toys. Legos , robots, puzzles, all of that stuff so naturally I had a feeling he would love this catapult. It's a pretty cool looking catapult too and he keeps it on his dresser as a decoration. It took him maybe an hour to build but he took his time while watching tv. It says to use wood glue which is not included but we didn't and it stays together fine.dru1313

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/16/2020Fun projectMy daughter loves building things and this was pretty fun. I like that it wasn't too difficult either. The look on her face once the project was finished and she saw the catapult completed was priceless. It brings out her creativity and building skills. It's so much fun shooting small objects with the catapult too. It's pretty sturdy too. It has a few small pieces and I wouldn't recommend it for young children as they might swallow or choke. Great father and son/daughter project. Requires minimal effort tooTexxasgurl45

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/14/2020Awesome building toyThis is a excellent toy for children for STEM. National Geographic Da Vinci's Inventions Catapult can build three remarkable machines: a ballista (an enormous crossbow), a bombard (an early form of the Cannon) and a mighty catapult. Each model is fully functional; however, the children need to take time to build those models. They love ithappyday

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/14/2020Learning ExperienceMy teen boy is always trying to play video games , like most teens nowadays. National Geographic has several interesting products out that would capture a child's interest. The National Geographic Da Vinci's Inventions Catapult wasn't too complicated for my teen to put together. I wouldn't recommend this for the younger crowd though, since theres some smaller parts. It would be a great invention to create with your loved ones, while spending quality time! It's fun playing with the catapult once it's put together properly. My son actually wants to take it apart again and paint it to blend in with his army display he has. I think it would make an excellent gift for those who collect things from the Vicking era.lillytee

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/11/2020Great father /son projectMy four year old grandson put this together with assistance from his dad. They enjoyed the time together and it wasn't so difficult that the child lost patience while building. The finished project was a fun toy too.FlGrandma
