So much fun!
So talk about lucky timing our new my life as a donut shop owner came right after my daughter bumped her head and what a way to take her mind off the bump! First off she can actually stand!! And is posable but as an adult writing this who is an overgrown child at times this is a first for me I have never had a doll that actually stands on her own and is soft in the middle to boot. Her hair is silky soft and the accessories are super cute. Now for the nitty gritty of the review overall my daughter loves her and wants a friend for her to major win for the company on that. Now the only real complaint is the color is only super bright on the doughnuts when you use ice. Plain water warms up too quickly that the color is kind of faint. Once they've been cooled down with ice the water works better. They will work with just water but make sure it's super cold or it will be less significant. They also fade kind of quickly until you get them cold. All fixable issues but in case you think its not working right try ice the colors get really bright then. My daughtered wishes the color stayed consistent longer on the doughnuts but over all adores this doll and the activity as a whole. My daughter's exact words are that she is super cool!!

I LOVE this doll
I received this product for free as part of the Spark Reviewer program. Let me start by staying that my kid is now obsessed with this doll. She is frequently running around the house, hugging it and saying "oh my gosh!" in excitement! So the doll is 18", the hair is the softest I've ever felt, and it's wearing pants, a shirt, shoes and a beautiful apron. The doll also has bow on her head and you can put a baking glove on one of her hands. The you comes with a baking tray, 4 color changing donuts, a piping bag and a donut box. The doll itself is fantastic! It poses very easily and is fun to play with. 2 out of the 4 donuts actually color changed, so that was a slight disappointment. The donut box doesn't close once the donuts are in. The piping bag can only be filled with water through the tiny hope in the end of it. All in all, it's still worth the purchase, (the doll itself is worth it) just be advised that not all donuts may color change.

    Affordable option for popular expensive brand
    This is an adorable doll more suited to an older child over a toddler. Great for imaginative play. Adorable features to include the super curly hair that looks just like my daughter's. The accessories are very small so we just put those up since I got this for my five year old. The shoes come off very easy so I would suggest just removing those too if not giving to an older child. There are lots of fun accessories you can purchase to go with these dolls. I'm impressed with quality of the doll and the variety of styles available.

    Well loved from Day 1
    Test subject was a 10 year old girl. She has 2 18 inch dolls and loves them. She has been begging for donut stuff. This arrived mid July. She does not have a name, so my daughter looked at her American Girl Doll books and chose the name Abby. I must say, Abby has been a delightful addition to the family. She loves serving up doughnuts and cookies. She happily shares with her two friends and all 3 of the girls exchange clothes and accessories. She has never taken out the hair, but she has spent hours playing with the exquisite curls. The "color change" is cumbersome, but my girl just kept the bottle in the frig for play time. After a month of play, the hair is looking a little frizzled in spots, but she is holding up well. We have loved having Abby as part of our 18 inch doll family. She has fit in well for this family of dolls and the extended cousin dolls. She is better quality than some of the more expensive dolls. At least we think so.

    I received the My Life As 18” Poseable Donut Shop Owner Doll, blonde hair through the Spark Reviewer program. This fully poseable doll has a soft tan colored torso, soft PVC plastic arms, legs, and head with beautiful blue eyes that open and close, and blonde rooted hair that is fun to brush and style. In fact, styling the MLA dolls long, thick hair is our child's favorite part. This doll features a light purple t-shirt with ruffle sleeves, a colorful apron that looks like it has real icing and sprinkles on it, pink leggings, blue flats, and a really cute headband with decorative donuts. This set also features all the accessories needed to run a donut shop. These accessories are an oven mitt with a cute donut print, one piping bag for pretend decorating, one colorful donut box, one baking sheet, and four color-changing donuts! These accessories are very life like and will help encourage imaginative play. The clothing is easy to get on and off the doll. I have a lot of 18” clothing from other manufacturers and all the clothing fits this doll perfectly. Our child has 18” dolls from 3 manufacturers and these dolls are not only her favorite, but they are also the most inexpensive. She received her first MLA doll at age 3 and she still really loves playing with them at age 9 and a half. I highly recommend these dolls and accessories.

    This doll is a winner
    This doll is so cute with it's little donuts and accessories. It does come with an oven mitt that is cute but does not fit on the doll, a tray for the 4 little donuts and a box to put them in , and a plastic piping bag, you suck the water up in it then put the water on the donuts . The magic is after you put the donuts in the refrigerator for a while ,they come out as different colored donuts. Cool I think. My granddaughter could not believe the magic. her face was priceless. This doll was a hit and its a nice doll they can play with for a long time

    I have so many wonderful things to say about this doll! First, the doll herself is super cute! The doll's hairstyle with two natural Afro puffs is not only adorable, but realistic to kids in my family. The Afro puffs are full, shiny, brushable, and complimented with the donut shop theme headband. The doll's face is also realistic with blinking eyes and soft facial features. The body of the doll is soft and she can pose in sitting or standing positions. The clothes are stitched well, colorful, and high quality. I was so impressed with the design of the apron with goes along with the donut shop theme. This doll came with little donuts on a plastic tray.     The donut shop doll is adorable! My daughters play with it every day! She comes with a shirt, pants, shoes and a cute lil apron to do her donut making. It has 4 color change donuts that I use the lil frosting bag to squirt with water. It has to be super cold water for tthem to change. And they go back to normal rather quickly. She also come with a super cute headband and it has a tray for the donuts.

    I love that AA dolls are including in Mylife collection. I love the afro puffs and the cute little clothes. My daughter loved the little donuts that came with it as well. I love that she has dolls with her hair texture. Something she use to be so self conscious about. These dolls are super cute and made well. I would recommend for any child.
