Very nice multi-functional grill
LOVE the light up knobs—great for safety and looks really nice. Has extra side panels for steak searing and a nice little stovetop. Easy assembly and easy to transport. I'm a Walmart associate.

Disappointed. Defective paint. Rusts easily.
I bought this grill on Wayfair and it is less than a year old. It is always under a covered porch and never gets wet, so the fact that the side shelves are already rusting indicates that they are not made of good stainless steel. Also, the lid is partially stainless but the sides of the lid are painted. Unfortunately, the paint that Monument uses is not sufficiently heat resistant. News flash: Grills get hot, use a paint that can take the heat! Failure to do so is, IMHO, such a fundamental flaw that I have to give this a one-star. Within a few months, it had bubbled up and peeled off. Now it's a rusty mess. The drip shield pan is also rusty with pin holes already, even though I clean it religiously. Monument has denied any warranty coverage and pointed out that their warranty specifically excludes rust and peeling paint, so they obviously know that this is a problem for their grills. I do use my grill several times per week. I figure I'll be lucky to get one year of use out of this before it's so badly rusted that I will have to throw it out. Cheap product. Poor warranty. STAY AWAY!!

    Really nice grill. Very sturdy and shinny. Heats up quick and the ceramic grill is higher end than I would expect for a $450 grill. Also the sear feature is a nice touch. I haven't used it, but the thought of a quick sear excites me.

    Overall, I'm very pleased with this grill so far.
    Showed up in pretty good shape...only had one dent from the inside out (I thought that was odd) on the back of the lid. Assembly was a bit of a pain. Directions are pretty good for the most part... I can't speak to the durability of the outer appearance but it is a very nice looking grill when it is new. Everything worked great after completing assembly. Seems to cook a little hotter towards the back, which is ideal in my opinion. Have only tried the sear burner once, it's going to take some practice but it works good, nice feature. Overall, I'm very pleased with this grill so far.

    Great backyard grill!
    If you are ordering this online be prepared to spend a good amount of time assembling it. Once built it works great. I've used it for about 1 full 20lb tank now and am very satisfied. the cast iron grates provide an evenly heated cooking surface. the sear burner is nice fore a steak lover. another nice feature is this grills ability to stay at a reasonable temperature when turned low. other grills I have used seem to be too hot, even on low.

    Overall a very good BBQ for the price. LED dials!
    Very Good BBQ. LED makes it special. Assembly 1.5 hour with a few difficult screws. Extra screws included, which is very good. Performance was great. Temperature gauge very accurate and side burners are excellent. The stainless burner covers glow red with heat, excellent visual for temperature. Following drawbacks: Sides of cover are not stainless steel so subject to corrosion over time. Cooking grills are cast iron subject to rust and harder to clean, but good even heat cooking surface. Some people might prefer stainless steel cooking grills for durability.

    Hot grill!!!
    Almost too good. I have to turn off 2 of the burners because it cooks a little too hot. All 4 burners on low and its over 400 degrees in hardly any time. I like it so far other than that. Easy to put together and room for 2 bottles underneath so you have a spare. Hopefully it will last longer than the charbroil I had.

    Outstanding customer service!
    Very nice looking grill! I've only cooked on it once since I finished putting it together, but it ignited right away and cooked evenly with no noticeable hot spots. I had to contact Customer Service when I lost a screw during assembly, but they were great. I actually received the shipping confirmation for the replacement screws while I was still on the phone with them! Good customer service goes a long way in my book, so I am very encouraged so far. Monument may quickly become my new favorite grill!

    Probably not worth your time and money
    I ordered this grill on May 23, 2020 and it was supposed to arrive in a week for a cook out I had planned. It arrived 7 days after that and had a dent in the rear panel. I contacted Monumental grills for a replacement part and they promised to ship it right out. Five days later still nothing. Also this thing comes in a million parts so plan on spending a few hours putting it together.

    Came Damaged
    I just opened this so I'm not sure how it works yet but the box it was in was not damaged but we had to destroy it to get the grill out and when we did the front by 2 of the knobs had big dents near them ( I'm hoping they still work) they had to have packaged it already damaged. I ordered this online so it wont fit in my car to try and return it and I don't have the box to put it back in so I think i'm stuck with it. I recommended if you get this grill try not to ruin the box so you can return if you have to.

    If you want to take your grilling to the next level, grab this grill. It has a side sear buntner which I have yet to use, but I'm excited to try it out. I am Walmart associate writing this as part of a review event.
