Great bike
Orginal, the website said it would take 3 weeks to get here. We had it in just over a week. Easy to put together. My daughter loves it! I like that the middle bar is lower than other bikes. She is at the stage where she needs a bigger bike, the smaller size is too small. And this size is just a hair big. She will be able to use this big for a few years. Built very nice.

Rust and loose screws!!
This was a Christmas gift. I was happy it was already assembled however some of the screws need to be tighten, besides the handle bars that are completely loose. There's rust on the bike that has not even gotten wet in the 1 week of use (pictures included).

    GARBAGE
    this bike came unable to be assembled because the parts were welded wrong. I received this bike in December, it is the end of February and this company has ignored all of my emails and they have done absolutely NOTHING to resolve this issue. As a single mom working two jobs, it takes a lot for me to be able to afford stuff like this and i will NEVER be purchasing from this company again and i will make sure i tell anyone that's willing to listen that all the bad reviews are the ones you should listen to, because the odds are you're going to be the next one to write a negative review.

    Poorly Assembled and Even Worse Customer Service.
    The bike fell apart while my daughter was riding it. She only had it 4 months and it had not been ridden more than 5 miles. The gear changer fell off in her hand, break cable broke, and chain fell off. Walmart in Benton Harbor Michigan refused to exchange the bike or help me file a claim.

    Disappointing!
    I ordered this bike online because the one I looked at in store at the Ocean springs location was broken and the brake lines were hanging down, so I ordered one online and chose pickup from the Pascagoula location, then I got a text saying it was unavailable but that I could get it shipped to my house for free so I did that and it came early, it looks like the same broken one I looked at in store at the ocean springs location, the back brakes don't work, the brake lines are hanging down and the gear shifter doesnt work either. Completely unprofessional to deliver a broken product! Very disappointed!

    First received late though not a big deal.. I've had this bike before, colors look good and rides good. The last time I bought one, it was already assembled. This time I order online so it didn't have any wear and tear from other people testing it in store. I got box in mail and it was damaged. And when I started to take bike packaging off I noticed the seat had been scraped with a piece of the seat taken off. Though it doesn't seem like a big deal but the more you sit the more the seat will give out because the material is no longer intact.

    I just want to start by saying so far everything has been perfect with customer service on Walmart end but unfortunately I have had two defective bikes back-to-back the first one with a Dynacraft and now the mongoose I can't put the front tire on because the fork where you slide the tires in is complete and twisted

    I was looking for a bike on here for weeks/reading reviews before purchasing this one. Every other bike has bad reviews and few stars. Im 5 foot 1 and this bike fits me perfectly. I was unsure at first but I can peddle and reach the ground while sitting. If youre going to buy a bike go with this one or another one by Mongoose. The assembly was relatively quick and easy, It comes with a manual on everything including switching gears. I would suggest purchasing a more comfortable seat, and be careful not to switch gears while grabbing the handle bars (lol) other than that it rides well so far and has no issues!

    Could be better
    Got my bike and they say they are all tested before they are shipped but that can't be accurate. Received my bike and its quite clear it wasn't tested or it wouldn't have been shipped with a misaligned front suspension fork. So bad it had to be replaced because the tire can't go on. To make matters worse that particular part is back ordered until 12.1.21. That means my new bike can't be ridden until 8 months after I've boughten it because by December 1st there will be snow on the ground in the state I live in. I ordered online and it can't be returned to the store. I would have boughten it locally but they had nothing in the 3 stores around me. My advice buy them locally if you can so you can be sure what you are getting.

    Immediate Return / Improper Manufacturing
    Had to return immediately due to faulty craftsmanship. The front axle had misaligned soldering, making it unable to get front tire flush. Also, upon opening, noticed the handbrakes were facing the wrong way. Unsure if this was due to packaging to make bike fit or unintentional flaw. Lastly the instructions provided were for multiple variations of the bike instead of the one purchased. This was confusing because it felt like the bike purchased didnt match what was in the instructions. Couldve been just my lack understanding though.

    A fully-assembled and well-adjusted brand-new Mongoose mountain bike just showed up on my porch one day after my ordering. I didn't pay for the assembly, but obviously it's been assembled and adjusted by experts. It;'s extremely smooth when you ride on the bike. My daughter loves her stunning new bike so much. Best day ever!
