Awesome!
If you want your guests to stay longer, buy this sofa sleeper mattress. I bought it for my top-of-the-line sofa sleeper that had a spring mattress. After 6 years of use, with the last year's use being on a daily basis, I was tossing and turning to get comfortable, and woke up with backaches. It wasn't until I had to get a tetanus shot (because one of the springs ripped my leg open) that I decided to order the Sofa Bed Memory Foam Mattress online from Walmart. The mattress arrived at my doorstep within 3 days (wow, fast), and it was heavy (a good sign). I rolled it out on top of my bed frame and let it rest for about 16 hours, when it reached 4.5 inches in height. I noticed absolutely no odor and even sat right next to it during its "rise" time. My sheets fit better on it than my old spring mattress also. My first sleep on this new mattress was heaven! I didn't feel any bed bars - just total cushiness. In fact, I slept so well that I woke up in the same position that I had fallen asleep. Instead of using my regular bed, I've continued sleeping on my sofa sleeper every night for the past 2 weeks and am still LOVING this new Sofa Bed Memory Foam Mattress! In fact, when my guests come to visit during the holidays, they can have my bedroom; I'm going to continue sleeping on the sofa bed.

    Best Sofa Bed Mattress in the Whole Wide World!
    After searching for three years and buying two other mattresses, I finally hit the add to cart on Walmart's site and purchased this one from Walmart. First, I looked at the reviews, which were quite favorable, and the price--well can't be beat. The last thing I did was study the pictures of the mattress--which, I'll be honest, almost had me hit the back button. 4.5" just didn't seem like it was going to be better than what I already had. When it arrived and I unboxed it, I felt a bit better because the mattress felt so much more expensive than it cost. It took about 30 minutes to be ready to put on my pull out couch and I proceeded to make the bed up. I slept on it that very night and folks--this mattress is absolutely fabulous. Best night sleep in a long while--no aches or pains or having to adjust to it. I have a sofa sleeper that is 7 years old and hasn't been used since we bought it. We were needing a place for me to go to when hubby's snoring is just too much. I've been using our sofa--not a good fit. I am so happy to have finally found the perfect sofa bed mattress!!

    Sofa Bed Mattress
    Needed a mattress for a sofa we purchased, found this one on walmart.com and on Amazon. Price and shipping was better at Walmart. My wife thought it was fine to sleep on, I on the other hand woke up sore in my shoulders and hip/back. I would rate a "3", my wife would rate it a "5". I guess for a sofa mattress it does the job. We use it when my wife is on call for her job so not too often. Also, I am happy to say it does fit our couch perfectly.

    Best mattress and price!
    I purchased two for my Lazy Boy sleepers. They are replacing the expensive Slumber air mattress I purchased with my sofa from Lazy Boy. I purchased them for when I have company. They were hardly used maybe twice a year for a week at a time and both times they went flat when my company used them. I said enough of this. I'm going to get mattresses I can count on. I researched all the reviews for the name brand foam mattresses. Walmart's Modern Sleep 4 1/2 Memory Foam had the best customer reviews. I purchased 2 as I have 2 sofa beds. I was not disappointed. The mattress fit the sofa perfectly. They are super comfortable and you can not feel the bars under them. As one review said they are made the same way as the more expensive mattresses. I am extremely pleased with my purchase from Walmart. I would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their uncomfortable sofa bed coil mattress.

    A better alternative
    I use my convertible sofa/bed all the time and the years were starting to take its toll on the mattress. I wasn't wild about spending $1000 for a new twin-size sofa bed and began to look for a replacement mattress. The big bed stores weren't helpful; they just wanted to make a big sale. I started to look at those "memory mattresses" and though expensive, felt there was no other alternative. Then a quick check online brought me to Walmart where I saw the ad for a twin-sized memory mattress at $99. It seemed to have all the qualities as the other memory-foam mattresses that cost hundreds of dollars more. I figured it was worth the $99. If this is your only option, in lieu of putting in a real bed or a murphy bed on the wall, I would recommend this mattress. The biggest concern, in reading other reviews, was the smell. Yes, there is a smell. It can almost smell a little "moldy". It's just the foam and if you air it out first for about 3 or 4 days, it will dissipate.

    I bought this mattress for my queen sofa bed. I wasn't sure what to expect since I have bought 2 other types of mattresses for the couch and they were horrible. I thought the 3rd time would be the charm. This mattress is wonderful! You can not feel the springs of the frame and it does not sag when you lay on it. Very Comfortable! I was worried about the smell after receiving it because other reviews said the smell needed to be aired out. I put the mattress on the floor after opening it and turned the ceiling fan on. The next day it was good to go and the smell was not as bad as I had thought, just a mild rubber type of smell from the memory foam. This is definitely a mattress I would refer and buy another of.

    Very comfortable
    I purchased this mattress to replace the brand new, terribly thin and uncomfortable spring mattress that came with my sleeper chair. It arrived 3 days earlier than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. I also liked that the mattress was packaged with an air sealed plastic cover to ensure that it was protected from dirt, dust, etc. during storage and shipping. Once the plastic was removed, the air began to plump up the mattress to its specified height. Some people commented that the mattress was thin, however if it was any thicker, it would have been problematic with it fitting and folding into the sleeper chair. This mattress is so comfortable compared to the spring mattress that came with the sleeper chair that I am completely satisfied with my purchase and would absolutely recommend it.

    Very comfortable, well worth the price
    We got this for a very nice sofa bed that we did not use often because the mattress was just not at all comfortable. We only used it when we had an overflow of guests and no other choice; even with a 2" foam topper (that could not be stored with it; very cumbersome), the springs still felt like they poked thru. When I saw this one, I was not sure that 4/1/2 inches would be thick enough to be as comfortable as the other reviews said it was, but decided to take the chance. It comes in an unbelievably skinny box! Within a few hours it had come up to the correct size and both my husband and I agreed that it was far superior to the one we had removed and surprisingly comfortable. The "new" odor was not objectionable. We will be using it for guests this Thanksgiving week without any apologies!

    Replacement mattress for an old sofabed
    I had an old sofabed, and my guests were complaining they could feel the bars through the mattress. After doing a little research and reading the reviews here and on other sites, I decided to try this mattress. When it first arrived, I thought it was way to thin to do the job. I was wrong about that - my guests are quite happy now and sleep very well. They say they no longer feel the bars - the memory foam does the trick. Some of the reviews mentioned an odor - there was an odor when I first took the bed out of its packaging, which dissipated quickly. I recommend this mattress for anyone looking to replace a sofabed.
