What's up with the kibble size?!
See picture. My cat really likes this food. However I have to stop feeding it to her because the kibble size has become so inconsistent. She has a really hard time chewing the larger kibble and struggles to eat. It's like she is chewing stones and we are worried about her teeth.
For over a year we've bought this food with no problem. Recently we noticed a much larger kibble. Then we bought another bag at a different store thinking maybe it was just a bad batch. The kibble was just as big! We can't keep wasting money on food my cat can't eat!! Why can't the food remain the same...seriously?
BTW, we noticed the same thing once with our dog food...all of a sudden one bag had huge kibble. Sheesh.

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/07/2020Change in kibble.I have been buying this cat food for my cat for five years. And more recently I have noticed that some bags that I buy have a completely different shape kibble, even slightly different color. My cat does not seem to digest the smaller denser kibble and will throw up if we happen to pick a bag that has the small kibble instead of the normal. I am not sure why the product is now varying in shape and color. The picture shows two different bags of the same dry food we bought during the same trip to the pet store.Johnny

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/13/2019Quick fixI didn't research this much but my cat switched over to it from another expensive, grainless brand fairly easily. He seems happy but maybe less energetic.iboughtthiscarpet

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/15/2018Magic!I started feeding my 2 fur babies (6 & 13 years old) Merrick about a year ago. The older of the two has the weirdest fur - very thick & unmanageable - plus an undercoat that's very difficult to deal with too. As a result he gets a lion cut (which he loves). The old cat food did absolutely nothing for his skin & he always looked like he had dandruff. With Merrick there's no dry skin - only healthy skin & fur. Plus he loves the flavor! Thanks Merrick for making such a great product!1gryffindor

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/31/2017looking for dry cat food?My cats have touchy stomach and have an reaction to fish product. Be able to pay an reasonable price that is grain free and gluten free and no fish product, this one is a good one to have. It helps that my cats have no problem eating this cat food.
