Only Food My Lab Can Eat
After 8 years, my purebred American Lab who I've had since he was 10 weeks old, developed a anxiety disorder. He suddenly counldn't be left home without destroying installed carpets or sofa cushions, where previously, he was free to roam as he pleased. He would pace, drool and hyperventalate constantly. After two vet visits, he was prescribed Prozac for dogs, as neither vet could find any medical reason to explain his sudden drastic change in behavior. My good friend suggested that it was his food. That he was reacting to some additive or preservative in the food I'd started feeding him. I immediately went to the store, read the ingredients in Merrick's Grain Free Real Chicken & Sweet Potato and decided it sounded as wholesome and full of goodness as we could get. It took about two weeks and Artie was back to his old self, off the life-long presciption of Prozac and snoring sounding on the sofa during the day as he once did. All I can say, Merrick is a Miracle at our house and only the best for our boys!

    tremendous weight loss
    I started feeding my over weight 5 year Pit Bull/American bulldog mix this food and loves it. She went from 72 lbs to 57 lbs within a few months. I am highly pleased with her weight loss. Not to mention she has soooo much energy, she is back to playful self again.

    THE BEST OUT THERE!
    I have 3 extremely picky pomeranians, all super finicky eaters. After trying at least 6-7 different brands of Made in USA only, grain free brands, we locked in on Merrick Grain Free Real Chicken and Sweet Potato kiblets. My 3 pommies, consistently will only eat this brand and this flavor. I do home cook for them a few days a week, and the younger two, will eat you chicken and sweet potato recipe after rejecting my fresh chicken breast dinner. Now, that I cannot figure out, but they know best what they like. I HIGHLY recommend trying any Merrick product. They choose Merrick over Blue too! I am so glad that I found this one particular recipe by Merrick!!! I always pass on the name to others who ask what to feed their dog! Thank-you Merrick! <3

    I rescued buddy on 01-27-15 he was 38 pounds I started him off with what I thought was a top of the line food his coat was dry he had a rash on his belly . So i started to do some research bought my first bag of texas beef grain free merrick the next week by the end of the month and the bag his coat was softer shedding had slowed and rash was healing half wat thew the next bag merrick grain free duck shedding had stopped rash was gone thank you for producing the best quality food for are pets This is buddy today 04-13-15 a happy healthy 49 pounds

    maintaining a girlish figure
    I have had my pug (who are notoriously hard to maintain fitness with) on merrick healthy weight for a couple months now and she's never looked better. She's keeping her ideal weight and her coat just keeps getting softer and shinier. I also started my 13 y/o foster dog on this since its as close to a GF senior food Merrick has and he wouldn't touch what the shelter sent me with once he tried it. Hopefully this will help loose the 3 lbs the vet recommends in a healthy way. His energy levels have definitely increased and he LOVES his walkies now!

    I have a 5 year old chocolate lab that had been overweight his entire life. He has tried many different foods including the prescription ones with no results. When we started this food he was 133 pounds..6 weeks later he is now 126 pounds. Needless to say we are ecstatic!  Both of my dogs eating this food are extremely gassy (clearing out the house) but at this point I will plug my nose if it continues to help him with his weight loss. So far so good!

    Considering switching?.. DO IT!!!
    If you've been considering switching your dog to Merrick, or at least purchasing a bag to give it a shot... Do it! You won't regret it. I switched my doxies from a mainstream holistic brand that was decent but not on the same level as Merrick. There are decent holistic foods out there for cheaper, however, if you want a superior quality food that will reflect in your dogs overall health, look no further. I switched my doxies from the chicken and pea to the duck and sweet potato  bc the chicken and pea is recommended for larger breeds. They absolutely love it and gobble it up within minutes of me giving it to them.  Merrick is a great company.

    Great Product for a healthy dog
    I got my Pit Bull from a pound where he was at the time only 47 pounds... He is now 65 pounds of pure muscle thanks to Merrick - Grain free real Chicken and Sweet Potato... and long walks... He was pathetic at the time of adoption. Had 3 days left to live... He is now THRIVING!! You can pay a little more for quality food or buy that junk that is out there and end up paying for it via Vet visits... It is absolutely worth it and Masuka loves eating it..
