broken metal buckle
the first pair was amazing. The 2nd pair is problematic - the leather quality is not as good as on the 1st sandals pair. Additionally the metal buckle lock broke, I fixed once and twice myself. I keep the old pair just in case I will need a spare replacement lock.

    Nice but closure is too long
    The velcro closure is too long. The strap that goes around the ankle does not allow proper closure.

    Unfortunate purchase
    I bought Mephisto sandals and the sole cracked in first two months. After that I tried to buy new one Mephisto and now the sole is OK, but the shape of the last is too narrow and the material is too soft, so it's often that foot is twisting.

    The most comfortable and stylish sandal ever made.
    I have owned two pairs of these sandals for about twenty years. They are so comfortable and great looking. The availability of Mephisto restoration has enabled me to enjoy wearing them for two decades.
