Very smooth operation
The MaxiClimber is a vertical step where you step onto the machine. You are up in the air for the most part. You must lean forward or you will fall off it backwards. It takes a little getting used too. It does work your thighs quite a bit. I use a separate timer for 20-30 minute workouts. If you have very bad knees, this may not be for you. You can moderate your steps to small, med, full steps. The foot pegs are small, and you are generally constantly working. I have a treadmill, spin bike, and this machine helps to supplement them. You also get a shoulder and partial core workout. I would say intensity is moderate in comparison to a treadmill. Not difficult unless you are out of shape. I enjoy the machine. It is not quite as intense as I thought it would be, but I enjoy it.

Received falling out of open box
Clearly was returned in bad shape, and then just shipped to me the same way. Expected a new product. Parts are falling out.
