Cooks in 2-3 minutes & is tasty
Yummy college food for poor students! Just add water. This is the cheapest food you can buy (per filling meal) at 18-20 cents a meal, & it tastes good! It cooks up in a microwave in 2-3 minutes, or on the stove or fire 2 minutes after the water comes to a boil. The secret is the noodles are very thin so cook up fast. Unlike a lot of soups that are mostly water & salty flavored powder, you get plenty of noodles per serving with this. Lightweight for camping & hiking trips. I'm not in college anymore but still like this for a quick hot meal or snack. The Beef flavor taste the best to me, but the chicken & oriental flavors taste good too. The recipes are endless. You can eat it as is, but is great if you add stuff to it too. Try adding cheap tomato juice or vegetable cocktail to it, & it's almost like spaghetti. Add your own spices, or a little more salt. Add meat... any kind, fish... like canned tuna or salmon. Add milk to make it richer. A little flour & salt to make it thicker & stretch it more for a bigger meal. Add an egg & water, stir up, & cook it. Add a little butter or margarine... or a splash of lemon (my favorite), yum! A cheap food that can be made amazing with a little imagination.

Not sanitary.
This does not come in a package is pictured, comes individually and it full of holes. Will have to throw away for safety.

    Easy Meal
Delicious noodle soup base. I cook as directed and then stir in a scrambed add until cooked (just a few seconds) and add a handful of frozen mixed vegetables at the end. Delicious meal.

    Ramen
I boil water, put these in for exactly 1 minute, drain all of the water and then add meat and vegetables and it's less salty and the noodles have a better texture for my tastes. I remember the days when these were like $0.10 and you were balling if you could buy the more exclusive creamy chicken variety for like $0.12.

GREAT VALUE, QUICK MEAL, LOT OF NUTRITION CHEAP.
These are a great bargain for the money, and are easily prepared in a matter of a few minutes. Like other people, I sometimes use these as an ingredient in other recipes. A staple for every pantry.

    Household Staple
This will get you through your meals when times are hard, or you can dress this up to a traditional ramen meal with the right sauces and cut vegetables. Yes it's high in sodium, but use half of the seasoning packet if you're watching the salt.

    Household staple
These have been a staple in my house since my childhood. I can recall them being banned from my school when I was in elementary as the kids were making such a mess eating them dry lol. They come in handy in between meals with growing teenagers! I will probably never stop buying them (unless they raise the price) and they are super affordable!

    Still a saver
As many I have enjoyed ramen noodles for years and they still do the trick. The different ways to kick up these noodles are endless. My favorite? Brick form in a ceramic bowl with black pepper, cumin, and the seasoning packet. Sometimes worsrtecschire (?) sauce splashes and/or Mexican salsa. Small strips of steak set this off too. Nuked 5 minutes on high. After they are done I add a little more water to have more broth.

    Good Value
This is a good value and a good taste. I can feed my husband and I 6 meals for less than 10.00 dollars a meal by adding a protein and a salad and dinner roll for a balanced meal. The noodles themselves are only about 20 cents each. Great Value good food!!

    Good cheap eats!
I love this for a good quick lunch. To me it's great comfort food. Takes just a few minutes to make and it fills me up. I like to add hot chili sauce to zip things up a bit.
