A better Mainstay product
Despite all the negative reviews, I actually like this Mainstay product. As you always should, I inspected the boxes thoroughly before picking which exact one so I could at least be sure there was at least no damage to the contents. I've assembled plenty of knockdown furniture. This was rather easy to assemble and took me about an hour (while trying to keep my 6 year old from running off with hardware pieces). It's only been two days, but it seems rather sturdy and the oak color looks pretty good. It holds my 49" LG just fine. For $78, I think its a good deal. Like any box of furniture you pull off the shelf from Walmart, you should ALWAYS check for damage to the boxes. ANY damage to the box indicates a possible drop which can easily result in breaks and cracks to the product inside.

Product is low quality. While I was attaching the feet assembling the TV stand, the feet completely broke in half. While I screwed them in. And that's that I am a small person and with weak arms. Meaning I barely have strength in my arms to broke them. Product was packed nicely but the product since came with scratches.

    I ordered this and I am just now getting this I don't have what I all need for this I am missing the foot panels for it to my package was damaged and it looks like they try to tape it up which I feel like my stuff fell out of there three shipping and handling was terrible the worst that has ever been for now this is just sitting in my room it doesn't even look right no more it looks terrible I tried calling and contacting you guys it says your office is closed but yet it's only 3 o'clock and your office is open until nine which makes no sense to me this has really been the worst that it's ever been

    Great and cheap!
    This is a great piece to use if you just want something small and cheap. It is small I am 4'11 and this piece goes just right above my knee. Assembled it and started noticing small scrapes on the edges from moving it of course. I went over the scrapes with sharpie, but overall satisfies my needs. It's sturdy,looks decent, supports my small tv and I didn't spend a ton of money!

    Proud of myself!!!
    I LOVE IT!!! For those who say that it's hard to assemble, it really is not. If you carefully read and follow the directions it is extremely easy. It took me maybe an hour or a little over an hour to complete BY MYSELF!!! Sturdy, Beautiful and such a GREAT price :)

    Legs are trash, broke during assembly
    I dont know where all these positive reviews are coming from, but I was thoroughly disappointed. The legs cracked in half while setting the stand upright after nailing in the backing. Not surprising, the "legs" are flimsy pieces of "wood" that almost feels like cardboard. I don't think I would trust the legs regardless. I just took the legs off to use without. It's going in the spare room anyway and sits on a hardwood floor. Not expecting much for $69, but it should not break during assembly. Otherwise it's a nice little stand. If this is your budget, it will work. Just either be careful with the legs, or forego the legs completely/use your own. The legs are absolute trash. It is fairly easy to assemble, I'll at least give it that.

    Poor quality, not really like this. I am keeping this without returning, I never returns once purchased generally. So, i am keeping it. I recommend not to buy this product.

    Love it! Super simple to assemble
    This tv stand is exactly what we were looking for! Very simple design, but it needed to be long enough to fit our 45 inch TV and have little cutouts in the back for the cords and it has both! It was soo simple to put together, took the two of us like 45 minutes or less. The box it comes in is very long and heavy but it's not too long, the measurements are accurate on the description. I also love all the shelves to put up decor and make it more homey looking. Really really happy with this and the price.
