Walmart shipping
The stool is fine, luckily. Walmart shipping, via the contractor (WGI Inc in this case) is, as usual, horrible. I managed to catch the FedEx guy who had no problems leaving a totally smashed box that was almost totally open, held closed by only the smallest bit of tape (that in itself is tacky). He called "Jake", a supervisor with WGI Inc who contracts to Walmart. Only packing was a couple of long strands of brown paper. Packed by someone who either does not care or has not a clue about packing, or both. But this is typical for Walmart. So, word to the wise, order only things that can't be hurt even if they try.

    Good value for a well made product
    For the money, this stool is a good choice. I bought two, one was made in Vietnam and the other in Malaysia. They were both assembled in the USA, in Louisiana. The Malaysian product was slight better made. Neither was quite balanced and rocked slightly, but a small spacer fixed that problem, always an issue with four legged stools and chairs. The finish was smooth and well applied. I would buy this product again and recommend it.

    I got 2 of these a few years ago (about 5 years) they're ver sturdy and well made, good quality!!! Not wobbly or anything like that!!! Still the same as when I first got them!! And I've got 2 kids, daily use!!!

    Good Stool
    I wanted a stool to sit on while styling my hair. Since it was for a bathroom I wanted one that was inexpensive. I decided to give this one a chance because of the price and good reviews. I cannot comment on delivery condition because the site indicated only store pickup was available. (Sidenote: I am upset that the Walmart near me does not have curbside pickup). After double masking I braved going inside to pick up the stool and, I must say, I was very surprised. I expected it to be poor quality and cheaply made (sorry Walmart) but I found the opposite to be the case. It seems to be well made and sturdy and I like the look of it. I bought a 13" cushion from Amazon for comfort. I've just used it a few times so I'll see how it holds up but, so far, I am very pleased with my purchase.
