Great yarn for hand knitting chunky blankets!!
Great yarn for chunky hand knit blankets! Baby blankets 5 skeins, throws 6-7, twin size 8-9. All depending on how tightly you knit them. Makes beautiful, soft blankets!

Good yarn. WRONG COLOR.
The yarn is great! I love it, but THEY DIDNT SEND ME THE CORRECT COLOR. I AM KEEPING THE RED BECAUSE ITS FOR A DIFFERENT PROJECT BUT THEY DID NOT GIVE ME GREY. THEY GAVE ME RED. I NOW HAVE TO DRIVE AN HOUR TO GET THE CORRECT COLOR IN STORE.

Ivory yarn total different than other colors
Price only plus, texture is rough not soft, this made it more difficult to pull out loops. Out of the four skeins, three were factory tied, I sew my skeins together. This was not wort cutting them and stitching ends. Thank goodness this was not my first order. The silver, aqua and dark blue are very soft with no joints. Had this been my first order, it may have been my last. At least I will not order Ivory again. See texture.

    Definitely good!
I liked the yarn. It's kind of soft and honestly I messed up about 4 times and had to redo my entire project from scratch so I'm glad the yarn didn't get too messed up and clumpy or thin in some parts. It's really good for big blankets. Definitely worth it and the price was good too

    Great value and quality
This is the fourth batch of the Mainstays Chunky Chenille I've gotten. I appreciate the value in the multi-pack and although it would be nice to have more colors, there is a wide enough selection to meet most needs and at least it's available! Color was nice and consistent and it worked perfectly for my finger knit blanket. It's a nice rich burgundy which looked great in my mom's living room. I recommend using the burn and melt method to attach the skeins together (see YouTube), you lose much less yarn and don't have to deal with knots or lumpy sections.

Makes a Great Finger Knit Squishy Blanket!
This is a great chunky chenille yarn at a great price. I just finished finger knitting a blanket using 8 skeins of yarn. One skein had 2 knots, but the other 7 were knot free. The color and loft were consistent throughout. I “cast on” 32 stitches and ended up with a blanket measuring 52” x 62”. It's lofty, squishy and cuddly. I will definitely be making more!
