Since June 2021, I haven't gotten off of Mlb The Show 21. As an 800 rated player in online multiplayer, I have experience playing on every difficulty level and in almost every environment there is on The Show. You are reading this review for a reason, and here are some reasons why you should buy the new Mlb The Show game. The new pinpoint pitching mechanic, cross-platform play, and the new stadium creator feature. A great new feature that will help the overall gameplay of Mlb The Show is the new pinpoint pitching mechanic. This new mechanic has changed the game and created a skill gap between good and great players. This new mechanic helps improve pitch location and improves the overall feel of the game. The new pitching mechanic is different from previous years, this new mechanic gives the player more control over their pitches and can help you dominate with your pitching. Although, all my friends who play The Show with me love the new pitching mechanic. There is also an option where you can change the pitching mechanic and you can choose from 4 different pitching mechanics! Many people love pitching but what's the point if you can't play with your cross-platform friends? The new cross-platform feature presented in Mlb The Show 21 is the start of a cross-platform and even cross-generational play. In past years, Mlb The Show was a Playstation exclusive game, and if you were on Xbox, you simply didn't play The Show. Now with the release of Mlb The Show 21 you can play with friends not only on Xbox but you can play with friends on PS5 and even The Xbox series X. This creates a whole new community of competitive and even friendly gameplay. The cross-generational feature on The Show helps you to transfer everything from your previous generation console to your new generation console. This means that if you do make the change to the new generation all your progress and time spent on The Show will transfer with you. Like every other feature on Mlb The Show 21 you have the option to change it and even go back to just playing against Playstation players and Xbox players can just play with Xbox players. The new stadium creator feature is a new feature that was introduced with the release of new generation consoles. One downside of the stadium creator feature is that it is exclusive to the new generation of consoles, which means only PS5 and Xbox series X can use this feature. Nevertheless, this feature adds a whole new level of customization to Mlb The Show. This new feature lets you adjust the size of the field, adjust the stadium. You have so much customization freedom you can make field imitations like The Sandlot. With this new feature, you can create your dream stadium and you can make your home ballpark feel like home. In conclusion, Mlb The Show is the best Mlb game introduced to both Playstation and Xbox. Introducing new and improved pitching mechanics, and a variety of new game customization features including stadium creator
