Perfect, it doesn't get any better
I purchased these tool boxes for our fire dept. brush truck. We needed a place to store our rakes, shovels, and brooms. These boxes worked great for us.

It is an ok box if....
I bought this box, because it was the size that I needed for my work truck. For the size of the box, it is not bad, you can actually store a good amount of tools in it. It is light weight, and the handles are of good quality.
The box itself is made of thin material, and if a thief really wanted to get into it, I am sure they would have little problems doing so. That is one of the draw backs to this box. Another thing that is somewhat disappointing, is the welds do not appear to be of the best quality, which is really disappointing for an American made product. To hide this flaw, I am having my box powder coated and repainted.
In summary, if you are hoping to store expensive tools in this box, you are going to want to reconsider that thought. It is good for storing inexpensive items, but when it comes to tools and such items of value, you are probably going to want to look for a better made box.

I placed this box at the rear of the truck bed.So now when I open the tailgait I have what I need within reach. It is removeable as I have placed a 2x4 across the bed in the grooves provided in the bedliner and it is rear of the rear wheels so this stops it from sliding back and around. No more jumping up on the truck just to get hand tools and everything is out of view and elements. If i need 4x8 plywood/ sheetrock it is light enough to move. This is a homerun for me.Frank

It did accomplish these things. I watched them unload it from the truck. Expecting them to use a dollie, I was a bit suprised when he just picked it up, carried it in and handed it to me. It was very light. The material seemed to be a tad thin, but time will tell as to the durability.
