Clear quality
We have this monitor and a portable one. The video quality is much more clear on the Lumi than our other device. I only wish it had additional wall mount pieces. We rent so we haven't used the anchors to put it in the wall, but now that my son is moving more in his crib we will have to use them. The directions say to only use the anchors it comes with, so when we move we won't be able to use the Lumi monitor anymore.

Worked great for a week, then stopped connecting
When we first set the video monitor up it worked perfectly. After an update, the video monitor disappeared from the app and we haven't been able to reconnect since that happened. We've reset the video monitor countless times, and now it shows no video monitor connected to our Lumi account. When we plug the monitor in it flashes white and never turns dark blue to pair with our account.

    We have been able to use this product now for 3 months. The video is more clear at night time. however It is still not as clear as advertised. It is better than some videos I have seen. Love that you can access video at any time and any location. With my husband working 24 hour shifts he is able to get on and see his baby which he enjoys. We bought two monitors and wish pampers would allow the app to be able to switch between them so that we don't have to buy multiple tablets and can use our phones When we dont habe the tablet close by to switch between them. Maybe you could work on adding this feature! My husband likes being able to use the talk back so that he can speak through it when our little guy wakes up in the mornings. I feel this will be nice in the future. The noise is clear however even with changing the settings to cancel out the most background noise there is still some that you can hear which makes it hard for light sleepers. The app is easy to use. I like that you can add special events to keep track of. I also enjoy having a way to track feedings It helped early on remind us that a 2 hour feed was upon use due to our son needing to be fed every 2 hours due to high bili levels. Now it is nice to look at and see what kind of routine our son is into. We are also able to keep track of sleep and output. We enjoy the playback and getting to see what pur little guy is up to since he moves around a lot at night. We wish there was a way to slow it down the playback. Overall I would recommend this monitor to a family or friend the stuff mentioned above are just minor things that we would change.

    Only thing I love is the video quality
    I moved from Nanit to Lumi to upgrade in video quality and while there was an improvement is video quality improvement, I still find the price to be too expensive since the monitor is not near perfect. First, the temperature and humidity sensor is very off from the Nanit. I find that the Nanit is more accurate and I heavily rely on the temp and humidity sensor because my baby runs hot and dry and we don't have a thermostat or capability to add one in our home unless we purchase a plug in. Second, once you mount, expect to keep the mounting permanently fixed. I cannot easily remount the camera on the wall to a different location without damaging the mount. Third, overpriced. I found many home security cameras that have more features than a lot of the overpriced baby cameras...for the fraction of the price. Fourth, the smart sleep system didn't add much value for me. You really don't need the system to alert you to change a baby's diaper / feed your baby / analyze a baby's sleep pattern. Lastly, the camera randomly blinks with a ring light without a cause. It has woken up my sensitive baby at night which is frustrating. Again, only thing I love is video quality but I can find that in a home security camera.

    So many issues!
    We bought this before my son was born, and since we have been using it I have had so many issues. It randomly will stop streaming in the middle of the night, and most recently the microphone stopped working. I haven't used any other monitors yet, but I am starting to shop around. Would not recommend if you are looking for piece of mind that you will be able to hear your baby all night long.

    We purchased Lumi for our little baby girl and have been really happy with the quality of the camera. However, the app is not as good. It freezes quite often and shuts off without being prompted to. Another downfall is the absence of an external monitor, it could only be used on a phone. If these glitches could be fixed would be one of the best on the market.

    The best camera
    I can see my son in all angles. I'm very happy with my purchase Lumi. The best camera ever. But there is one thing that is not so good: the light that it's around de camera, it's a lot of clear. Is not necessary. I had to put a masking tape to cover it. Because this gets in the way the sleep of my son. So study about it, and take off it of the camera please. And this makes me very disappointed Tks a lot! My son is 20 months now, when I bought it he was 17 months.

    More than expected
    The product delivered on all our expectations and more. It does what it promises- great vision day and night, never breaks, great sound, and ability to generate automatic videos every morning capturing all the night highlights which u can save and watch. Worth spending the extra $ for this quality in my opinion- especially if u can get it in your registry.

    Love our Lumi smart monitor
    Our house has 3 floors, so it was important for me to get the highest quality camera with best secure connection to make sure we can keep an eye on our 3 months old son. We picked the Lumi monitor after seeing it at the CES show in Vegas and being very impressed with the tech behind it. After using it for 2 months now, I'm A big fan. It never once broke down like other cameras do ( I had another camera we got before) and the quality of video/ audio is great. Other features like the unique zoom in and ability to listen to your baby while using other apps is also very helpful. Recommended purchase!

    The best upgrade
    We upgraded our less smart monitor to Lumi 2 weeks ago. It is a different world. The image sound quality are flawless, design is nice and fits nursery perfectly. Also some extra features we love in the app that . are really helpful. Getting all the info I want about our baby through the smartphone is just convenient.
