This is the best cereal.
The oat bits and marshmallows are a great flavor combo and I love singing the Lucky Charms song while I eat. Anyone throwing shade because of the sugar content in this cereal can go look at every other marketed food product, which is pumped full of insulin-spiking sugars. Eat this treat in moderation, of course, but enjoy it because it is an enjoyable food with a relatively low calorie count (not in the proportions I eat it, though). As for this nonsense regarding Trisodium Phosphate (TSP), TSP is a common food additive and is safe for consumption. You know what else is a heavy duty cleaning product? Water. Baking Soda. Vinegar. All consumable. I can't stand this ingredient fear-mongering, but I digress... Lucky Charms captures the feeling of growing up in the 80s and 90s when you would unleash a giant bowl of sugary cereal upon your stomach while watching Saturday morning cartoons. I wouldn't eat this every day, but on the days I do, it really is a treat. Eating this cereal hearkens back to the times when I could rest secure in the knowledge that hotdogs were healthy and a great breakfast consisted of 97% simple carbohydrates.

Parent got sick of Lucky Charms
My mom got sick a week ago after she snacked on Lucky Charms. After that, she noticed that her stomach was griping her and felt nauseated. After she was resting for a while ago, she felt flushed. My mom is one of the multiple people that got sick after eating Lucky Charms. The poor people should be entitled to be compensated because the ingredients in the cereal.

    Needs to be recalled
My 6yo daughters favorite cereal has been Lucky Charms for 4 years. About a year ago she became terribly sick and had green diarrhea and stomach pains after eating Lucky Charms. We thought it was a one time thing but it happened every time until she finished the box and that's when I saw the other reports and put the together. Yesterday (3/31/23) I purchased from Sam'sClub another box. Today, 4/1/23, she was so excited and had her first bowl in a year. Within 6 hours, she couldn't make it to the bathroom quick enough on the playground. She had green diarrhea all over her shorts, legs, both our shoes. My poor baby was so embarrassed and was apologizing to me! She still has stomach pains and it's 10pm. The FDA made the wrong decision to close its investigation in General Mills' Lucky Charms.

    Industrial cleaner as an ingredient!!!!
How do you add an industrial cleaner Trisodium phosphate to a food marketed to kids and sleep at night. Corporate greed & corrupt government oversight in this country is treason to all Americans

    flavor?
overall it's a mostly normal box of lucky charms and theres not much difference, but there is a new marshmallow. and i have problems with this marshmallow. I love that we are getting a new marshmallow but what flavor is it? my guess is vanilla but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. also, on the new gem marshmallow it has weird flakes that make a weird texture. Also the design is basic.

    Taste completely changed?
Just like the person below me bought a family size box in November 2022 and didn't even taste like Lucky Charms. Was edible but was completely wrong, hopefully this was in the same run and you didn't change.

    Taste has changed
Got a new box this week, had a bowl today - tasted awful. Did you change the recipe recently? Not the charms themselves, the crunchy cereal tasted nasty and got soggy extremely fast. One of my favorite cereals for decades is now going in the trash.

Magic Gems made us sick 09/07/22
I bought a huge box of the Magic Gems in Sept ‘22. Both myself & husband have realized it's not a coincidence that we've both gotten sick after eating it. I'm super bloated, constant indigestion with unruly burping. I use Almond milk, husband uses reg milk, so that's not the problem. It's the cereal!! If you have this in your home throw it out!! It's made us both sick several times & we finally figured out it always happens after we have a bowl of lucky charms for a snack. GM, this is my 1st time looking to see if a food has a recall and I'm 49. I'm glad y'all are “working with the FDA” & whatever else you post about investing the bad batches of cereals, but I don't care what the investigation conclusion is—- GM needs to voluntarily PULL THESE OFF SHELVES & not sell another box until you fix what is obviously a problem. We are getting sick. Are y'all willing to keep making us sick to sell these tainted boxes? Money matters, but our health matters more!! Shame on you, General Mills. Shame on you!!
