    Pretty good
    I was a bit concerned about this product, the size and quality. But to my surprise this is a pretty good kit. Bought for my grandparent for their camper and it's perfect! The little tackle kit comes in a small case, the rod is a pretty decent size and the reel is pretty good quality

    Lightweight, perfect for first fishing pole
    Like: lightweight, easy for my kid to carry around for it's not heavy at all. However, since it is also lightweight, needs to be careful to use it so it won't break. Take sometime to get use with it but I think it's a good purchase for a first fishing pole

    Money Well Spent for Quality Made Rod, Reel & Lures!
    I bought this item as a present for a friend & very happy this is the one he chose! The carbon fiber is super strong & the reel is slick & strong. It's so nice it makes me want to purchase one for myself! The lures that come along with the rod & reel are as well made of quality material. This is an excellent 1st choice telescoping fishing rod at a great price!

    I bought this fishing rod and reel as a gift for my brother who lives overseas. March 2021 I went to visit him and we went out for a fishing trip. when I gave him the packet his first reaction was " wow! it is so lightweight, is it going to hold a 20-pound fish?" once he starts using it within few minutes he claims that he loved it. And within 20 minutes he hooked a 15-pound carp. there were lots of accessories included with the box but he used a live worm as bait.

    Nice rod.
    Ordered the long rod, ooops. Should have got the shorter one. Anyways still cool, telescopes out good, bottom handle also screws out and gets longer, and reel has flip switch that folds handle in for storage so it doesnt break. Wish this had a hard sided carrying case included. Included lures are a bit cheap, but hey...chinese fishing at its best.

    Success at first fishing.
    I am very impressed with this rod! Amazing what can you get for the money these days. The rod is strong yet practical. The reel works and looks just as my other more expensive reel. I caught many fish.On the other hand the extendable handle is something that the other even more expensive telescopic rods don't have, which is why I went for this one and it really makes a difference..esp when you are pulling a big fish out and need to hold the rod in both hands.

    Excellent choice for tween
    My tween daughter had been fishing a few times previously and had been taught all the basics by a family friend. So, when she got this fishing rod under the tree this year, she was super excited and knew just what to do. We've gone fishing once with it already (and planning to do a bunch more in the spring when it warms up) and the rod performed great!

    For the price and convenience. .. Why not?
    This is a great little set. We walk from home to our fishing spot as well as camp ground. It's nice to not have that bulky stick bouncing around during the walk. We had a small hiccup, but customer service was amazing, extremely quick to return msgs and offered exceptional help!
