So much fun!!
My 3 year old son loves this. He is really into tornados and loved creating his own in water with this. It comes with 4 easy to follow experiments. My son really had a ball! It kept him busy for hours. After doing the tornado experiment he put some of his small toys in and watched those twirl around. I highly recommend it. He was able to do everything on his own with the help of myself with measuring ingredients for the different experiments. I took it out of the package and added the batteries and it was ready to go.

Very poor construction for being made for water
We bought this to go with the wonderlab. The only thing our son requested. It was fun for a day and then it started leaking everytime we put water in it. Now the switch is rusted and the toy is no longer working

    Fun for all!
    My 3yr old got this for a birthday gift and has played with it every day! We ended up buying one for a birthday party that we were attending since it's so entertaining and fun for all ages! I love that he's experimenting with other small toys to see what happens when they are added to the water and then what happens when the tornado part starts!

    Water Leak= Rusted Switch
    Had the tornado tower for 1 day and it stopped working. Somehow the water leaks in the bottom and rusted the switch over night and made the cable come off. Other than that my two boys had a lot of fun playing with it while it worked. Wouldn’t recommend buying this

    Rusting Problems
    I bought this toy on a Sunday and by Monday it was not working anymore. The toy was pretty cool and my boys had fun playing with it. If they can find a way to keep the water from leaking where the power switch is the toy would be perfect. Definitely wouldn't recommend until they fix this problem.

    My children loved this toy but unfortunately the switch rusted out after a couple of weeks of light use. We didn't even get to try all the experiments. :(

    We have only done the tornado. We thought outside the box and added glitter. (Reminder glitter is difficult to clean and if you think outside the box/example cards little tikes is not responsible for any damage caused to the toy or anything else) i only wish the zip tie at the top of the blender wasnt so tight. I cant get it off and feel like ill damage the container if i keep trying.

    Great, but needs work
    I was excited to try out this STEM Jr. toy with my 3 year old son. He loved putting the gears in the water and watching them spin around. He now asks to play with the "Tornado maker" every day. There are some things that I think that could be fixed. I was disappointed in the design of the "blender cup". Since it cannot be removed from the base, it makes it harder to clean after using oils from the experiments. It would be helpful to have an actual measurement, like how many ounces you need of the mineral oil on the Lave experiment. We ended up needing 40 oz of mineral oil to get to the 3/4 full. 2 of the 4 experiments failed for us, the Foaming Fountain and the Dancing Spaghetti. We tried them both 3 times and couldn't get the same results as the card. Overall the concept of this toy is great, it just needs a few fixes to make it better.

    The Little Tikes Stem Jr Tornado Tower has become my daughter's favorite toy! The cup to fill it is just the right size for her to do all on her own. 3 settings to control the size of the tornado and the button for bubbles is just too cute. I really like that it came with 2 cards that have pictures plus instructions on how to create 4 seperate activities. It's already assembled, so adding the batteries was all it took. Clean up is a breeze too: just a simple twist and then empty it. Definitely worth snatching this up, it's a great educational toy that the kids will love!
