A bit disappointed
We were suppose to receive the kayaks on the 27th of June and we had to call on the 1st of July to find out where they were. After a few phone calls back and forth with the Walmart that they were to be delivered to and customer service on the web, we found them. After picking the kayaks up (only wrapped in a plastic bag) we got them home in time for the 4th of July weekend. They were scratches on both kayaks. The bungee cords keep falling off and the seat back would not stay connected. I'm sure we can fix the last 2 problems and but seeing that we bought these new ,not used, it was a bit disappointing. They look like we bought them off Craigs List. They are very stable. I would have added a few more pictures but could only upload 2. I would recommend this to a friend after they check it out before they leave the store.

    Great boat, great customer service
    I got the Hydros because it fit in the cabover camper shell on my Tacoma. I had about 8'8" of space, far too small for my old Scrambler Ocean Kayak. This fit my needs and performed far better than expected. The stock seating situation was the most comfortable of any sit on top kayak I have used too, which was unexpected. After some years of use a clip on the seat strap broke while launching off a beach. Lifetime customer service was great and got me back on the water within a week. It would be nice to have parts lists on the website though.

    Great little kayak! Only complaint I have is the seat back doesn't allow me to sit up straight. I feel like I'm reclined so far back I can't see where I'm going without craning my neck (painful) so I have to sit up without support (which kills my back) or rig the seat to keep me at least where I can see.

    Replacement part for broken clip on Kayak
    I bought my Hydros Kayak in 2017 and one of the plastic clips that holds the seat broke and Lifetime replaced the part with very little complication. I was very happy to learn that my Kayak was covered under warranty for 5 years and the customer service was excellent. Thank you.

    Best fishing kayak for the $
    I love this boat! I am 5ft 3in and 125lbs And I can carry it Alright and maneuver it well on the water. It is very easy to fish from and at 8.5 ft everything is within reach. The seat area is very uncomfortable, i recommend getting some cushy for your tushy. Other than that seat deal, I love this kayak!!

    I bought pair of this kayaks a month ago from online Costco store (this is our first owned kayak). Recently, My family use the two kayaks a couple of times in Ontario lake, creek, and lake in conservation area. Very good quality! Easily control and good stability!

    Good value and design. Easy to transport and store
    This is the best Kayak I have ever owned for ease of storage and transport. Most all Kayaks are stored away and transported more than they are ever actually used on the water. Pro> Great price and value from Walmart. I Like the color and clever design. I am 170lbs 6ft 2in. and still had some leg room. No stern sinking or water entry issues as others reported . Paddles straight and has pretty a good glide for its short wide size. The slot for a water bottle is nice and also the built in handle and 2 T handles on front and on the back. Made in China Paddle is much better than I expected and fit is tight when clipped together. For a just few dollars more I got the fishing model for its color and better resale and wider appeal. I especially like that I can store it vertically in my garage and just drop it in the bed of my truck. Con> Came slightly scratched on sides, even when packed with double plastic bags. This issue seems to be a common complaint. The hull is sealed and some things are rattling around inside when moving the Kayak around. Drain hole is too small to get them out. A bunch of plastic fragments came out when I tried to remove the objects which I think are the drilled out pieces for the 2 rod holders? The 2 Hydro stickers on the sides had bubbles in them and I removed them. They really cheapen the look of the kayak. who ever installed them did a simple job very poorly. The Kayak appears strong enough. but seems like it will scratch easily. The seat is another common complaint ,it pops out easily. I asked Lifetime rep. about that ,and they are aware of that issue. They say they will replace any parts that fails. A youtube video said to use tie wraps to hold the seat back in. The photos on this Kayak are not accurate. I think newer ones have 2 T handles not just the front one, and there is no black plastic around the center built in carry pocket. Finally I recommend using a boat cushion or garden knee pad to sit on for long periods of fishing or paddling.

    The wide boat hull makes it very a stable boat. Along with the bungee straps and the positioning of the pole holders make this an ideal fishing kayak.
