Check integrity of all welded joints.
The metal on this bench bent at the welds, on the bottom of the seat. I am not sure where the quality control is. It is being replaced but not before spending well over an hour putting it together only to have it fold in on itself.

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/06/2021Bad Quality ControlBought from Sam's Club, Received unit and right out of the box I saw that the left arm had a dent in the bottom rail, which bowed that rail. It had to be dented before it was packaged, because there was no damage to the shipping carton. Also when attaching the back panel there are 4 acorn nuts all supposed to be 10mm, one of these was a 9mm, which demanded a trip to the hardware store to get a 10mm Acorn Nut so I could finish assembly.Stockwood

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/29/2021Lifetime Glider BenchExcellent quality, it looks great. It is sturdy & heavy so it stays in place. All the need parts were in the box. We watched the video on how to put it together and it was very helpful. We had heavy winds in a storm after we put it together & it stayed exactly where it was. We have always had to bring our other furniture in because it gets blown around. I would purchase againKatQ

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/06/2020Great when it works, but poor material durability, flawed bearing design, flawed construction.Poor material durability: The all weather powder coated finish is rusting off after only 1 California rainy winter. In addition, the screws that fasten the plastic planks to the frame continually rust and have to be replaced. See photos. Flawed bearing design: The glider sits on sets of bearing sleeves which are poorly designed and keep failing. The inner sleeve strips out and I have had to rig up a solution using several sets of washer and some concave bicycle brake shoe washers. See photo. Flawed construction: The screws that attach the plastic planks to the frame are inadequate. Too short, misaligned to the pre-drilled holes and rust prone. The back and forth movement of the glider causes the boards to continually pop out and I have had to re-screw, re-drill or glue the boards back down. See photo.Hammond

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/17/2020Poor Quality, boards warped and screws failed. We purchased two weeks ago. The first time it rained the board warped so badly it pulled away from the frame and the screws that held it together snapped. I have tried repeatedly to reach Lifetime but they will not answer their phone nor will they respond to emails. this is too bad as it seemed like such a good glider.Dean

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/14/2019Product is flawed in slat and fasteners materials.Functional and comfortable for two adults, attractive design and reasonable cost. Relative ease of assembly with a helper if care is taken due to base and seat sections moving (gliding) relative to each other. However, after only two months of infrequent use in partial shade and no inclement weather, three seat slats warped. breaking the fasteners. The fastening screws are machined incorrectly creating a weakness just under the screw head. Also the screws are one size too small for the force exerted by the warped slats. Some of the screws broke in the middle. The clearance holes for the screws are also too small, creating extra stress on the screw head when the holes should pass the screw freely, instead of cutting into the seat frame.Norsenomad

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/27/2019Waste of moneyI had this assembled and about 10 days later the slats popped up. Screws broke holding them down. This piece came assembled so it was nothing we did wrong. I notified customer service he said send pics. I did. A week later I notified again. Thru email he said "looks like the screws came loose". I told him I had messaged him that they broke. Still waiting for response. Don't know if I can get the broke screws out.Valerir
