    Replacement Parts after 8 years
    We bought our hoop almost 8 years ago when my son was 5. Fast forward 8 years and at 13 he still uses it. This Winter we lost the pin that holds the adjustable hoop into place. After 8 years I wasn't even sure they would carry the part, but they did and shipped them out to me for free! I would 100% recommend Lifetime hoops to anyone looking.

    Like I saw as I researched
    I bought this for my 10 year old son. I always wanted one growing up and now he is into sports. We will make many memories. We put it together in about 2.5 hours. We used the BILT app. I did my homework and I'm pleased with the product and the price. We will have this for years to come.

    Overall a good experience
    I read a lot of reviews about this hoop before purchasing. Most negative reviews were focused on the assembly process and the number of people it took to to assemble. I thought we'll I'm pretty good at assembling things, so I'll give it a shot. It took me about 2 hours in one evening solo. So there's hope for this hoop yet. Just follow and pay attention to the instructions and the orientation of each piece. Some bolts might have to be loosened and retightened while completing later steps, but it can definitely be done alone. As far as performance, so far so good. It does wobble a little and the backboard is a little hollow sounding, but that's to be expected with a portable hoop. The fact that it is adjustable will be perfect for my 11 year old. I do wish that the height adjustment arm was locked into place a little more securely, but it works.

    Great Product and Service
    Hoop is pretty decent for the price range. Very easy to use for my son. After a bad storm we came out and found that somehow the pin that holds the adjustment handle was missing. We searched every where and could not find where it fell off. I sent Lifetime an email and they had a new one sent out right away, no questions asked. Great service!

    very painful assembly but worth it
    assembly is a pain but once done its amazing. package says 3 hours to assemble, i took 1 whole days with breaks to complete with limited help. some of the instructions are missing in the document, so have to refer YouTube or use some logic/brain. also you need a lot more tools handy to assemble. only 4 stars as the instructions was no accurate plus i think the manufacturer could do a little better to make the assembly better.

    Overall, very positive
    Truly love the goal, bought a chain net and goal-attached ball return. Assembled easily over four hours. Looks good in the driveway, and moves and adjusts in seconds. But then (lol), a wind blew it over and bent the rim about an inch. You see, the plastic base is delicate, and got a pinpoint leak in it when it touched a curb, most of the water leaked out so it had nothing weighing it down, so 6 bags of sand later, I'm back in business but I would surely like to talk to someone about a new rim (at cost)! Yes, I would buy again in a heartbeat, but I strongly suggest SAND as opposed to water to fill the base..
