I purchased this about 3 weeks ago, and the minute I handed it to my 5 month old daughter she loved it, I fancy that it can light up and I really appreciate the sound options to either lower or higher the volume, there is a Spanish channel which is perfect and overall it's just an amazing toy with alot of options to learn. It's also in the shape of a remote and phone (which my daughter loves to grab and chew on).

Lots of different phrases and sounds which gives a good variety and not repetitive when pushing buttons. Like that it has a learning and play function to switch between. Only complaint is that it is rather heavy for a toy so if your child is a rough player this may not be the toy for you.

    This remote is perfect for a toddler. I am pretty sure all toddlers and babies love remotes. The music, the numbers and the games are sure to keep you little one busy and I would highly recommend it.     Great way to keep little hand off our remote!
    My son is really enjoying playing with the LeapFrog Scout's Learning Lights Remote! He runs up to the TV and tries to change the channel or turn it on. He has a great time and we don't have to worry about him grabbing the real remote and messing up our TV anymore! He enjoys all the sounds and singing as he pushes buttons and has not wanted to put this toy down for the past three days. I enjoy all the different features it has to offer for him: there is a "play" mode and a "learn" mode that have the toy do different things and I like that it teaches him number recognition.     My daughter has been playing with her Scout's Learning Lights Remote Deluxe by Leap Frog for about a week now. I love how it has so many different activities to keep her entertained. The remote itself has two different modes, play and learn. She likes them both the same. In the play mode, it is just that, play time. In learn mode the remote teaches your child about the different topics such as weather, numbers, the ABC's and even teaches Spanish. This toy is small and easy to take with you anywhere. However, it is full of so much information that your child will not get bored. The flashing red and green lights add to your child's fun and encourages your child to press the buttons. The volume can not only be adjusted but also teaches your child the many levels of sound. There is even a button that plays music. I can not say enough positive things about this remote. It truly is a teaching toy with over 100+ phrases, sounds and music. The product has been provided by VTech/LeapFrog free of charge so I could experience it with my family; however, the thoughts and opinions are all my own.
