    Engaging, Cute, and Well-loved
    A personalized puppy that sings your child's favorite songs, talks about their favorite colors and foods, and says your child's name. This puppy is still cuddly, even with the battery pack/voice box. Leapfrog chose music and a voice that I do not find annoying. They had my son's name in their database, which was exciting since he has an unusual name, so he gets to hear the puppy say his name. If their name isn't one of the names that they have audio for, than they will spell it instead, which is nice. My son plays with this for long periods of time and really enjoys having it in the car or in bed at night. It ended up being his favorite and most used toy that he received for his second birthday.

    Fantastic Toy for Infants and Toddlers!
    The Leapfrog, My Pal Scout, is a fantastic toy for infants and toddlers to both love on, play and sing with, fall asleep with, and much more. My daughter loves the Violet version of this toy, so I bought Scout for my nephew, and although he hasn't gotten to play with it yet because Christmas isn't here yet, I know he'll enjoy it so incredibly much because my daughter loves Violet (which is the same toy, only purple).

    I purchase this for my daughter when she was little which shes now 10 and i recently purchase this item for my son who is now 2 years old. He goes to sleep every night with his pal scout. Definitely recommend it.

    Almost a year later he loves it
    I bought this for my son when he was six months old. He started out by only looking it when the bow tie lit up, but now that he's fifteen months old he can press the buttons himself and loves to hear Scout say his name. Absolutely adorable. If this one ever breaks I would not hesitate to buy a new one.

    My daughter loves it!!!
    My mom actually had me order this online as a birthday present for my daughter. I love that I can go on the computer and change the songs on it with the leapfrog program. I love that it says her name, too. The only thing I don't like about it saying her name is it sounds like it is asking, not stating, but her name is some-what unusual so I can't expect it to be perfect. I'm not sure how educational this really is. My daughter is 14 months and hasn't learned anything from it yet. She does love the bedtime music and I love that I can set it for 3 different lengths. Battery life is great. I think I've changed the batteries once, if at all, and it just recently ran out of battery life. She received another dog toy for Christmas that is very similar to this one but a different brand and no customizable features and it is so sensitive. If the surface it's sitting moves at all, it turns on. I like that you actually have to push the buttons on this one. It makes it so that battery life is not wasted if you forget to turn it off by the switch.
