Older Model but quality 4k blu ray player
This is an older model LG 4k blu ray player so if you're in the market for one I would probably suggest the newer model. As far as this one goes it is an overall good quality player, it supports HDR10 and that's about it. It has no apps like Netflix, Hulu, etc. if you're looking for that sort of thing. It does upscale your DVDs and Blu Rays to 4k and they look really good I must say. If you're looking for dolby atmos this isn't for you. This is just a basic well built 4k blu ray player that doesn't have all the bells and whistles. It does do a really good job though.

Must read before buying
I believe I was sold a used dvd player - it did not work and some blemishes on it. I am still trying to return it to Walmart because it doesn't even work ! Plenty trouble returning it with excuses such as on line computer is down etc. Horrible and will never purchase anything from LG or Walmart ever again.

    Easy set up, great price.
    I already have a LG 4K UHD smart tv. I decided to get this LG 4K player. I didn't feel the need to get one with streaming since I have that on my tv. Setup was simple, use a high speed HDMI cable for it. It plays 4K discs beautifully and upscales my existing dvds and Blu-ray's really well. I recommend this player to anybody.

    I ordered this DVD player for my son who is incarcerated and It arrived to him broke. It doesn't read discs. His facility calls property like Twice a month and when he received it,it was to late to return item. So that's $180 I've lost

    Very good disc player and an awesome say return
    This 4K Blu-ray player is just that. A player. Nothing else. It has no WiFi abilities at all the only way to connect to the internet is hard wired connection. That is the reason I bought this one. I already have what I need to stream and connect to the internet. My only problem is when I opened it to connect and enjoy, it didnt. The language option menu popped up for a few seconds and then went to white screen. I tried to open the tray to put in a disc. It only opened half way. Return through Walmart was easy enough. I just clicked the return button on the app. Answered a few multiple choice questions about why I was returning the player and they had one on the way back. I had it on my doorstep two days later. Put the old one back in a box, took it to FedEx, the printed a label from the barcode on my email Walmart sent me, and that was that. Great picture quality from this player. But be warned. It is only a player. Itll play DVD, Blu-ray, music cds, and picture cds. No WiFi available on this model.

    Does not support some video formats on u.s.b. port
    So far this product is worth the investment. I only have one complaint and that is it would not play certain types of videos through the u.s.b. port - Which a very inexpensive $50 personal DVD player had no problem supporting the avi format - this was a great disappoint to me - that I will learn to live with.

    First read the features closely. This unit is independent from Blu Tooth connection. This unit performs like a race horse, fast, clear, minus whistles and bells. Improved picture and sound.

    Very happy!!
    After ordering this player from Amazon on two separate occasions (the first one failed to work at all, as well as the second) I returned them for a refund and ordered from Walmart. Upon receiving the unit I was very happy when it worked instantly and perfectly as it should.

    Fortunately the item works fine and I have no issues with the item but I have many issues with Walmarts delivery service box came extremely damaged and I do have photos if you would like to see them
