Good air conditioner!!
Fast shipping and arrived in perfect condition. We put it in and its working great. This was for a large bedroom so we are sleeping cool !! We've only had it for a few days so I cant say about how long it will last.

Wifi bells and whistles, does not cool adequately
This 8,000 BTU should be cooling my bedroom. It is not. My room should be like a meat locker, I keep the air conditioner thermostat on 62 and do not use eco. I have to have cold air to sleep because of a lung condition. The thermostat shuts off, but it is certainly not 62 degrees in the room. Tried to keep the room cold when it was 50 degrees outside, just to see if it was working. No. Temp only got down to 70 degrees in my bedroom. My room is 375 square feet My last off brand 8,000 BTU kept my room like a Popsicle. Very disturbed that I paid this much money for a window unit that does not work as promised. Also had to pay installation fee since I am disabled. Return? What an issue. Would have to pay to have the thing taken out of the window in addition to shipping fees. Will never buy this brand again. Don't buy this if you need your room to stay very cold.

    Perfect AC and LOVE the WiFi feature!
    I read a lot of reviews on different units before making this purchase. Living in FL, you need a good AC that can hold up to our elements. This unit cools my room perfectly. I have the auto settings to turn off at 6:30 am (before work), and then turn on at 3:30 pm so my room is plenty cool when I get home. Also, it is sooo quiet. I am very happy with this unit!

    First one installed. Worked 30 minutes. Used remote to turn off. Would not turn back on. GFCI would trip and reset, but unit would not power on. Thought it was a fluke so I had them ship me another one. Installed and this one lasted about 8 hours before it just lost power. Wouldn't power up, same as first. So, I got a refund and I am shipping this one back too. I previously had a 8,000 BTU window air conditioner that ran for months. Different brand though.

    Great Air Conditioner
    The LG LW1521ERSM Air Conditioner is wonderful unit. We installed in our kitchen since it gets hot there more than any room in the house. Even hotter when we are cooking for family get together. This solves out issue. The LG LW1521ERSM is very easy to install. We followed the instruction step by step. This unit fits in our regular sized window. It is just the right size. It does not require any additional brace or bracket for the outside. Everything you needed is included. Operating this air conditioning is pretty simple. You can either use the control panel on the unit, use the remote, or connect it to your Alexa or Hey Google so you can just talk to it. That's pretty high tech if you ask me. The operation is very quiet. It is also a good looking air conditioner. Overall, we really like this air conditioner. It is perfect for our kitchen and most of all, it is ENERGY STAR™ Certified which is very important to us. We highly recommend it.

    Great unit for a great price
    I love this ac. It was purchased to replace a unit that was older. I went with a bigger size so I could get more square foot coverage. It is working great to cool my entire living room and kitchen. I would definitely recommend it to others. When it arrived it was a bit bigger than I originally thought. So if you have smaller windows take that into account.

    Shipped 2wks after order placed We had paid fee for quicker delivery. one side air conditioner huge dent The inside cardboard box that contained the conditioner torn looked like producd Previously used sold and returned The outside shipping box looked like new. You knew air condition was used prior and returned by customer but sent to me anyway Very dissatisfied Weather has been hot

    So far, so great!
    Bought this air conditioner just about a month ago. Previous AC purchases included better known higher priced brand names that worked nowhere near as well as this LG AC.. So simple to operate. My first time actually using a remote and it's so easy to figure out. I should've known it would work great because my LG TV works great too.

    Loud noises after 4 months.
    1st year worked fine and cooled my living room well. The next year the motor has a loud sound and its not cooling as well as it did. I bought this last summer so it might have 4 months of use on it. For $499 it should last years in peak performance... less than one year and I feel like I got a dud.
