Cool features!
I recently purchased this portable AC unit in preparation for the unbearable heat of the California Summer. So far, it works like a charm! My husband is more of a tech person so he really enjoys all the cool features this AC has to offer. I'm usually the person that gets frustrated with tech, but even this ac is easy for me to control which is awesome. It cools my entire house within minutes. And it's not as loud as other ac units which is a plus. I especially enjoy the timer feature where it turns off by itself because, let's face it, we all forget to turn things off after a while.
It's unique look is also a great touch. The last AC I owned had the vent exposed which wasn't too great because it would collect dust fast or there was a rick if things accidentally falling into it, but this one has a cover that opens/ closes the vents when the machine is on/off. It also moves up and down as the machine is on so that it spreads the cool air around the area (and faster) instead of just shooting it in one direction.
And I can't forget about the coolest feature so far- it connects to WiFi and your phone!!

Garbage
If I could give zero stars, I would. We've been trying to get our unit fixed by LG for a year now. The tray fills with water constantly (we have another one that does NOT do this) and we've had their “techs” come out twice now. The first guy had no idea and the second guy said that it's our job to fix the problem and that we need to put the unit 8 feet in the air and run a drainage tube out of the window. LG told us that we don't qualify for a replacement and refuse to repair the unit. We've tried everything and the water just will not drain properly. It shuts off constantly saying the tray is full and they're telling us it's our problem to fix it. Why even have a warrantee if you refuse to replace or fix your products when they malfunction?

I live in MA and in summers, we have some very humid and hot days. This LG portable air conditioner has been a must in my house. It's not too noisy, bearable. It's a bit heavy, but having the capacity of cooling a place quick, I don't mind the one extra pound. It has wheels so you can just moving around from one room to another in the same building. Also, work with Alexa, now I can ask Alexa to turn the LG conditioner from whenever I am. I am buying another one for the upper floor. Good product LG!Daniel Alvs

I have been using the air conditioner for seven weeks and it has functioned flawlessly. I have casement windows and constructed a foamboard piece of installation with an exhaust hose opening to fit where the window screen is located. Once the foamboard piece is installed in place of the screen, the exhaust hose is taped over the foamboard opening to vent the hot air from the air conditioner to the outside. The portable air conditioner is a temporary solution until a new heat pump is installed. We have had temperatures reaching the upper nineties and the air conditioner has kept my house cool. I use a fan to blow cool air from the upstairs to the downstairs. The air conditioner is cooling around 950 square feet. Qty 1gordon2856

We have a large home and for some reason, even with 2 Air Conditioning units, our master bedroom won't cool off. The answer for us was the LP1419IVSM. After reading numerous reviews we decided to give it a try. Best buy ever! From the time I opened the box and had it ready to run took only 30 minutes, and most of that time was just getting it out of all of the packaging. The remote is awesome as well. Cooled out Master Bedroom down to 60 degrees in about 60 minutes and the room stays at 60 all night. It's the quietest in-room air conditioner we've used.C WIlson
