Amazing sound system!
It's Flu season time! Unfortunately for our household, the flu hit early this year, and for two weeks, we were all knocked out, unable to go to work or do anything other than sleep and try our best to recover. One of the worst things about the flu is that stuffy feeling you get in your ears that makes everything sound muffled and distorted, and that's exactly what our old TV speakers sounded like – muffled flu ears! Gross! It was definitely time for a change. But with prices rising everywhere and so many brands to choose from, what would we do? We opted for the LG SLM3R Sound Bar, and it certainly did not disappoint. Not only was it affordable, it was also easy to set up and even easier to use. My favorite feature from this sound system is its wireless bluetooth access, which allows most of the components to be connected wirelessly. Who doesn't love less wires dangling around all over the place? And if you own an LG TV, it's even easier to connect! The system itself is composed of five pieces. The 200W subwoofer generates pleasant, smooth bass and connects to the rest of the system via bluetooth. The system also includes a 4.1 sound bar, comprised of two 50W speakers which provide crisp and clear audio, and two 60W rear speakers that can be placed anywhere else in the room to provide that rich, immersive movie-theater surround sound we love. Finally, the system includes a wireless receiver used to connect all of the speakers and the subwoofer together. This sound system is incredibly versatile. It includes adaptive sound control, which adjusts what you're seeing onscreen. Also, because of its ability to connect via bluetooth, we were even able to connect our phones and play music through it, and the quality sounds amazing! Imagine playing your favorite songs on a powerful surround sound system! So, don't get stuck at home with the flu, forced to watch your favorite shows on that old, terrible-quality sound bar! If you're looking for a high quality, affordable replacement to your old TV sound system, we definitely recommend the LG SLM3R Sound Bar.

Good Sound Bar Surround System from Lg
I received my LG soundbar last Friday. I was excited to unbox it and set up the system. The packaging was properly done . The setup steps were not the best and not clear for people who don't have a good idea of audio systems setup, especially the wireless speakers. Apart from that, the audio quality is really good. the base is perfect for movie and music viewing. I have been using this over the weekend and watched multiple movies on Netflix and Disney plus and they sounded great. This speaker system comes with one soundbar, 1 woofer speaker, and 2 small wireless speakers connected to a mini wireless setup box. Overall for the price, it's a decent device for a small to mid-size apartment/home. Pros: Product Quality, Sound Quality for the price, Base, Wireless. Cons: Setup Instructions, Many wires. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest feedback.

    Great sound for an affordable price!
    I live in a house full of video gamers. Our main TV in our living room is connected to our Fire TV stick and an my husbands gaming system. Most weekends we have 3 kids 5,11 and 13 all playing together or watching movies. Previously we had a sound bar that was ok, but it had no bass at all, no other speaker and didn't add much to the experience. The LG Sound Bar SLM3R fits well on my small TV stand for now, eventually we will mount it on the wall. We have put connected with optical cable, that's our preference, but we did connect with the Bluetooth tooth as well, both options were easy to set up. I love the depth of the sound we get with this system, the bass is deep and crystal clear. Our TV and sitting area are separated by a walkway so it's a great feature to have the two rear speakers that aren't connected to the main unit. Set up was easy, my Fire TV stick works with the volume and power, so when I turn the TV it turns the sound bar on. I love that feature, I can put the original remote up so my kids don't lose it. It has really enhanced our movie nights, I can't recall hearing any distortion, even with music since we've used it. It has adaptive sound, so the settings adapt from movie night to playing Mine Craft. The kids can hook up to it with their devices with Bluetooth to play music, it's super easy to connect to it. I really don't have anything I would improve, for the the affordable price it offers a great sound.

    Great quality for the price and wireless!
    We received the LG SLM3R system and promptly set it up, installation was a breeze. The wireless surround speakers and Bluetooth capability is what I found most appealing about this sound bar. Placement of the speakers was quick and easy; and we love the theater feel on family movie nights; the sound is rich and crystal clear, even at higher volume. Our family also uses the sound bar for music streaming which allows us to enjoy music while we are cooking, cleaning and entertaining guests. I would recommend LG brand audio products to anyone! You get quite a bang for your buck with comparable sound quality to some of the pricier brands!

    The sound is clear and high quality
    We have been looking for a high-quality and inexpensive sound system for a long time. We were looking for one to quickly connect and not take up much space system. and LG SLM3R 4.1 ch. 420W Sound Bar Surround System with Wireless Speakers suited us perfectly in all aspects. We immediately easily placed the system in our living room, we have it quite large. We placed the subwoofer and soundbar right next to the TV. Wireless speakers can be placed as you like and how you like to create more surround sound, they can also be hung on the wall. Excellent everything connected quickly via Bluetooth. Stylish design, compact system, well made. The sound quality is at a height, the sound is clear, the scenes are heard in detail, every sound and voice are perfectly heard, the volume is over enough, the sound is not sharp, it is soft and immersive, excellent bass, the amazing surround sound is like in a movie theater, the sound is great both for movies and just for listening to music, I also liked it behaves in game movies and listening to music is just a pleasure. I've received this soundbar surround system and wireless speakers at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.

    Good sound in a small, clean package
    Overall, this soundbar delivers loud non distorted sound throughout our media room. The base is strong enough so that high action scenes can be felt a floor above. The overall speakers are small and discrete, especially due to the fact that both the rear speakers and the base are wireless (the base has only a power cord, and the rear speakers have a receiver that does need to be wired to the rear speakers, but this was small enough for me to hide it behind the couch. Set up was easy, as the wireless speakers connect automatically, and in cases where they don't there is a pair button for a one touch ability to force them to pair). I noticed no delay on the wireless speakers. Bluetooth audio from my phone sounds good over these speakers too - and you can can control your phone media via the soundbar remote. There were two minor annoyances that caused me to remove a star. 1. The manual is almost non-existent, it's a fold-out with only basic set up instructions. 2. I don't get the mounding holes on the bottom of the main speaker - the rear speakers have standard holes for mounting them with a single screw, but the main unit has what appears to be standard mounting screws, but why are they on the bottom instead of in the back? My last speaker had them in the back and I was able to use an adapter to hook it to the same mount my TV was using. Even more importantly, I think LG should have included some mounting hardware along with some instructions on how to mount the unit (see issue 1). You can see from my pictures, that I managed to get it mounted above the TV with L brackets, but it's not very pretty.

    Really nice sound.......
    This sound bar is a really nice addition to my entertainment experience. I thought everything was gonna be wireless but when I took everything out, the 2 small speakers had to be wired in. That kind of discouraged me because I thought it would be a hassle to set up, but once I got everything out of the box and placed everything, it was super easy. I only had to connect the the small speakers to the receiver and everything else was wireless. I hid the wires behind my couch and plugged everything in, and that's it. The sound is nice, crisp, surrounding, and very clear with no static. It definitely gives off a theater audio feel. The different connection modes are a plus because you can pair with other devices with ease. I love the sleek design and it blends right in with my entertainment decor. The bar was si simple and easy to pair with my LG TV. I'm really loving the sound experience with this soundbar. The sound bar is definitely worth the money and its something I feel confident about recommending to my family and friends.

    Beautiful Slim Design & Great Sound
    I was so excited when my LG SLM3R Sound Bar was delivered. After unpacking it, I was amazed that it included everything for easy install, even the batteries. I was able to connect the sound bar to my LG television with the included optical audio cable. The setup took me 20 minutes. Once you plug in both the subwoofer and sound bar they will connect automatically. It would have only taken me 15 minutes, if only I knew where to initially connect the audio on the television to sync with the speakers. I love the slim design of the bar and the wireless receiver. I also like how inconspicuous the speakers are. I placed them on my side tables behind my lamps. I barely notice them. However, the sound is very noticeable. The sound surrounds the living room area so nicely. The preset sound choices simplified everything. No confusing equalizer to adjust. I mainly use the Cinema setting and it sounds great. I hear every little detail. I do not need to raise the volume too high to hear the great quality. A bonus for me was how easy it was to sync my Firestick remote via Bluetooth. I can now control the volume of the sound bar with it.

    Surround Sound and Live Action, All in One Package
    The LG SLM3R 420w Sound Bar System was a fabulous purchase! This is our first ever sound bar system. I really like the look of the speakers and the sleek, slim design. With the low profile front sound bar and small surround speakers, I was definitely not disappointed on how these would make my entertainment center look. The sound that comes out of these are extremely clear, vivid and can really get up in decibels if needed. Setup was easy to my TV and I had TV and music playing on them in 15 minutes. The LG SLM3R Sound Bar system has the option of using fiber optic cable to import audio to from your tv (*if your tv has a optical port) which makes running wires and cables even easier! With my television being a LG too means that the remotes are dual functionality, so I can control the sound bar using my tv remote! These speaker set is great and the best purchase for my home media so far! I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest, unbiased review.
