EZ install with Kidde Smoke
Installation was very easy. Wires were already stripped. I just removed old smoke alarm and installed new one. Took about 10 minutes to install. Very satisfied.

Hush button does NOT work
Just installed several of these for a house renovation. We've had multiple occasions where cooking will cause them to go off. I've pushing the hush button. Need to hold for 30 or even 60 seconds for it to go off. I read the manual and it just say "push to hush" but that is not true. My ears are STILL ringing from standing under the alarm holding the button. Not happy!

    5 out of 6 work, 1 goes off every 3 mo.
    I installed 6 in my home and after 3 months, one faulted. I cleaned it out but 3 months after that, the same one faulted. The 2nd time, it didn't reset automatically after cleaning and plugging it back in so I had to do a couple reset attempts. Well, I do I know the alarms are loud & coordinated. I hope the others continue to work for the full 10 years. I'd recommend to a friend who needed 5...

    Has this model been updated? I just removed 5 of these older detectors dated 2018 that kept going off over and over. My new replacements have a date of manufacture June 8, 2022. Hopefully, this issue has been fixed as I see many others have had the same issue. I cannot go through this again as my detectors are high up and hard to reach without a long ladder

    Awesome!!!
    This is the first time I have had a combination fire and carbon monoxide alarm!! I love how it will announce out loud and say fire or carbon monoxide whichever one it detects!! It can run off of batteries or it can be wired!!

    Terrific Smoke/CO Alarm that needs no battery repl
    These were plug-in replacements for Kidde battery-back-up smoke only detectors. The Kidde Tech Support rep advised me on this product to be sure I was getting a direct plug-in replacement, and they are. I especially like the Worry-free built in 10-year battery.

    Works great so far!
    This combo smoke detector is amazing. I love that it truly does it all! It's also great not having to worry about replacing a battery. I will note that this is a HARD wired detector meaning you must have the power connection in your wall - it's not a typical battery powered alarm. If you have the wiring or are building a new house, this alarm is amazing!

    We just bought a new house and we wanted to make sure our family is protected. We have gas appliances and the risk of fire and carbon monoxide was a concern. After looking at all options we went with the trusted brand of Kiddie. We went with the Worry-Free AC Wire-in Combination Smoke & Carbon Monoxide (CO) Alarm Sealed Lithium Battery Backup.     Peace of mind and easy install
    Recently my husband and I moved into a older home that had worn out no longer functioning smoke detectors. Our new home is an older home as well with an older furnace. So having a smoke detector that was also a carbon monoxide detector was a must for us. This detector was easy to install and had detailed easy to understand directions that made the wiring install easy and only took a few minutes. I love how this detector has a battery backup so even if the power goes out this detector is still working to protect us. It saves us money as well as keeps us safe. Some other great advantages of this detector is the alarm is nice and loud which is what we were looking for because both myself and my husband are hard of hearing. There's an end of life chirp as well so when we'll know when its time to replace this detector. My husband and I plan on installing a few more of these detectors throughout our basement and garage so our home will be fully protected.

    Excellent all-in-one detector!
    I moved in to a new house and had no idea how old the existing detectors were so I replaced them with this kind. I've done basic wiring before (new light switches, outlets, etc) and this was just as easy as that, probably took 20 minutes each. I had the powered and connected (red) wiring already so just connect all 3 wires to where the old ones went and they were good to go. I love that it has carbon monoxide and smoke detector in one device, and that it has the 10 year battery so I won't need to replace them for a long time. It is also really nice that it gives the alarm noise and then also says what the alarm is for so you don't have to memorize different kind of beeps.
