Wonderful playhouse for children
Granddaughter loves it , The directions were a little hard for me to understand but we finally figured it out and got it up for her and she loves it. We have an outside so I may put a sealant or something on it to keep it from rotting out with the rains here in Florida. It's big and she is just having the time of her life playing in it

Quality for the price is lacking
The wood for the inside of the playhouse is smooth and super cute. When I opened the box and laid everything out and started priming pieces to paint, I realized that the smooth and frames out sides were actually for the inside of the house and the rough, flaking/splintering sides were for the outside. The quality is lacking, especially for $399 price tag. I couldve just purchased lumber and built one from scratch to have better quality. On the outside, you see all of the nail holes and millions of staples used to hold it together. First photo is the texture and appearance from the outside. 2nd picture is what the paneling would look like from the inside (primed) Disappointed. Maybe I got a dud?

    High Hopes
    I had such high hopes for this adorable playhouse but was unfortunately very let down. The house developed mildew all over after one rain, inside and out on almost all surfaces. We put it up for Christmas and here we are March 15th, and it is so faded as if it has been outside for years and years. The wood pieces are warping and the top roof peak warped and popped right off. The company Kidkraft had offered to send replacement pieces, but we would need an entire new playhouse to replace those bad pieces. Walmart offered to send us a new one if we wanted to send this one back (HOW??). They eventually offered a percentage of money back.

    Was a very cute play house but have had it together for about 5 months and it has became to have mold all over it and pieces cracked I contacted kid Kraft and they were no help they wants me to send a list of affect parts and they would replace I no longer have parts list and it is basically the entire house that is affected

    Don’t buy unless you are a master mind
    Product arrived damaged and also arrived with NO INSTRUCTIONS!! This is equivalent to a human sized log cabin with tiny pieces without any instructions. It would be easier to chop down trees and build a fort then it would be to built this.

    Turned out perfect!
    This was a project for sure, but mostly because of the paint job I decided on. The instructions were easy to follow and I did it all by myself (except for putting the roof on top). Turned out just how I imagined. I am waiting to put the flower boxes on until I deliver it to my daughter’s house Christmas Eve. I would recommend to anyone.

    Great Playhouse
    We purchased this Kidkraft playhouse for our granddaughter and it did not disappoint! She absolutely loved it! It did take her father and grandfather several hours to complete it. But she is thrilled with it.

    Love it!
    I highly recommend this house! I put it together 6 months pregnant, so not too hard on that front. It smelled heavenly too, cedar wood. I painted it and totally made it my own. Our little one plays with it every day! Highly recommend!
