Don't buy this
It does not perform the way I thought it would. If motion detection sensitivity is set to Extra- I get alerts and a photo about once/minute (every time a car goes by, or the wind blow and a branch moves) and I don't want that. If I set it to Average, I don't get any alerts or photos, even when I walk out the door and stand in front of the doorbell.

    It's okay
    This is a decent camera and it's better than having nothing on your door at all. I think it falls short in 3 ways: 1) The video quality isn't great and the color is often inaccurate. Everything is shaded purple in the stills for some reason. Night time shots are okay if someone is directly in front of the camera and they are well lit. Aside from that you're not likely to get anything usable. 2) The motion detection either works too well or not at all. When it does work, it's often too delayed. Sometimes it will pick up garbage trucks driving by, other times someone will already be in the apartment before the camera takes a shot. People will walk by and the only shot with them in it will be their foot exiting frame at the beginning of the stitch. 3) It is wifi connected and the app is pretty good but lately the amount of time it takes for the images to load on the app makes it unusable. It can take several minutes or more for the images to load which is an eternity if you have someone waiting at your door. Other than that, you get a decent product for $25. I like the chime and the two built in ringtones are pleasant. The battery operation and 3M sticker make it really convenient to set up. You can also screw it onto your exterior wall and hardwire it if you want to. Worth a shot if your budget is tight.

    Temporary fix but not good in the long run
    It's ok it is the bare minimum. You don't need to subscribe to get see who is at your door but it doesn't notice motion quick enough to catch someone in an image if the are walking parallel to the doorbell. It's more likely to see them if it is positioned so people have to approach it perpendicular to the doorbell. Everything it sees is in a shade of pink or purple very rarely does any true color appear in a picture it takes. It's says you have 30 days of free cloud access but you don't it promptly refuses to let you see any images taken 12hrs or more ago. Brand new it only lasts about a year before it literally will not work. I have had 2 die exactly one year after I installed them. Batteries die constantly even if they are the best you can buy. You can't hard wire it with a plug in adapter to keep it working 24/7 even though it looks like you can. Even on shortest sensing range it will alert for tree branches blowing in the wind and snow falling. It's great because you don't have to subscribe to a cloud service to see some images but it's not because it doesn't always alert, the batteries die constantly and it will completely die after 1 year so if you want to keep buying and replacing them every year and constantly uninstalling it to put new batteries in it and receive the bare minimum of useful alerts if any then throw your money away on this! You get get a new chime with each new doorbell but you don't need the chime if you had one from a previous kangaroo doorbell the new one will pair with the old chime instantly. It's easy to setup and has no mandatory subscription required - like all the rest but is an awful waste of time and money in the long run. It always stops working when you go on vacation and can't do anything about it and can't use it to keep an eye on your house. Better off getting a camera system installed with its own memory/dvr setup, you will see more and have better control of it.

    It could be better
    I don't like the night setting. At night it's hard too see even if I have my porch light on. Other then that it's okay.

    Doorbell camera
    The device worked great at first. It recently stopped taking video clips and only tells me there was movement. I'm not sure if it is from the Arizona heat or what but I've only had it about 2 months and I tried putting new batteries in it and it still isn't recording. Also when it would record sometimes it would be as sensitive as to record car shadows going by you can't pull up real time viewing but I would probably get another one to use. For the price it was worth it just wish it would of lasted longer.

    cheap for cheap
    don't waste your money. if you plan to catch someone forget it. night vision is horrible..way bad..like looking through a black hole. I had someone attempt to break in my house and the images were awful. at first i thought it was great its easy setup so easy.. but constantly needing to sync with chime and going off line. Night vision well you dont need this camera to see what you can its so bad. forget it. Battery lasted one week. have fun trying to reset the thing before it flys off with batteries going everywhere. I bought it at first good results still messed up . I don't know what this picture is..but its night vision looking over my front porch

    No frills, but a good product for the price.
    It's good for the price. I got ours for the doorbell function. The video is hit and miss. The backdoor doorbell works pretty well. There isn't much going on but it occasionally picks up animals. The front door doorbell is 30 to 40 feet from the street and it picks up every car that goes by, even when set on "Average" sensitivity. This isn't a problem for me. I don't have notifications set, but it is nice to have the ability to review things that have happened. I think this is a good product for the price if you are not expecting a lot of features.

    It's meh for the price.
    Loads pictures and video slow, so you can't see immediately who's there. The video quality and light isn't great and yes I applied the filter to the camera that they provided and it's in a place where it won't get wet. It's meh for the price. I have other security cameras through Walmart that give me better video and audio quality for cheaper.

    Cheap device not worth the money!
    This camera only will record only about 5 seconds of video per motion detection, at the time the motion sensor detects a person and that person gets to the door the recording stopped already not showing a clear picture of what is going on. Not to mention that the camera stopped recording after 1 week of installation, motion sensor detect something but not video, also the night vision is completely worthless, better save some extra bucks and buy a device more reliable.

    Don't waste your time or money
    I purchased and for the first month worked beautifully. Then no camera. Contacted support, they made me go through an hour of tech do this do that. Then I said forget it I want a refund, they said we'll send you a replacement. Replacement lasted 10 days...still no response from support requests and still no refund. This is NOT worth the hassle and now that they have my payment information, are they going to charge me again next year? They best not try! The picture is AFTER I placed new batteries in it for the 3rd time in a month. NEW batteries within 10 days I get dead battery and no internet
