Great formula..
I'm definitely loving this new design and pump it's very cute and eye catching. The product is great as well I love how it leaves my son smelling fresh and clean and smelling like baby. It doesn't irritate his eyes or skin which is a plus.

This product strips moisture
I bought this product 1 month ago and used it to wash my sons body and hair. Right away it was clear this product that now combines shampoo and body wash was stripping moisture from my sons hair. I'm not sure why the baby wash is harder to find but hoping this one comes back because I don't like using this combo product. I love the baby wash and hope they keep it separate from the shampoo. Please reconsider continuing to sell this product separately!

This review is for the bottle/pump
I've been using various J&J baby washes over the years, and my most recent purchase is with the new bottle and pump design. The pump is hard to push down requiring two hands, one to push the pump and the other to try to securely hold the bottle which can be tricky with wet hands. I get my child to hold the wash cloth under the pump opening now. The pump very slowly comes back up and only about an half inch is available to push down, so very little soap comes out for each pump. I realize in the grand scheme of things the slightly more labor intensive design isn't that big of a deal, but I will be buying other brands until there is a new bottle and pump design because it is annoying to deal with every night. Don't try to fix what isn't broken.

Love the Product; Hate the Pump
This review is in reference to the design of the pump, not the product itself. With this being our first child, we trust the brand of Johnson and Johnson. We turned here first, but came away disappointed in the packaging. The pump is nearly impossible to operate one handed, which defeats the purpose of having a pump in the first place. The poor design has resulted in us looking strongly at your competitors. I cannot overstate the importance of ease of use while bathing an infant. The pump is a safety concern when trying to get the product out of the bottle on a wet counter with a slippery baby. What market study was done? In a controlled environment, it might be fantastic. In real life use, it's a failure.

    The new pump ruins it.
I've been a dedicated user for years and I'm now changing brands because of the pump. It's the worst pump on earth. It takes 4 seconds for the pump to come back up which results in a long time to get enough soap out. It's really bad. Time to move on.

It wasn't broken, why did you "fix" it?!
I have used Johnson's baby shampoo daily for YEARS for make up removal. Read that as: I used to lather it and apply it directly to my eyes. It was wonderful. Now that it has been "improved" I will no longer be buying it. a) It runs through my fingers and barely lathers, requiring that I use much more. b) The new bottle and pump are practically unusable. The bottle is unstable and each pump produces a tiny amount of shampoo. I have to use one hand to stabilize the bottle and the other to pump it repeatedly. I generally like pump bottles, though. This just isn't the right kind of plastic for it. c) It stings like insect bites. My eyes were dry, red, and itchy to the point that I needed eye drops. My friend stopped using it because her baby started crying when she used this new shampoo. She's the one that introduced me to Aveeno baby wash. It's not as good as the old Johnson's baby shampoo, but it is far and away better than this new hornet water Johnson's is selling. I chucked the whole thing in the garbage. Fail, Johnson's. Huge fail. I understand that crunchy organic people want things that are natural, organic, gluten free, chemical free, etc. ect. ect. Poison ivy is natural, but I bet you'd get blow back if you added it to your products. I don't blame you for trying to snag that market, but I think you'll ultimately lose more than you gained.

What happened to the old tried and true?
New is never improved. Why? Why change the classic standard? Aside from the bottle, particularly the pump resulting in my almost dropping a new full bottle on my 6 mo old's head as I tried to get it to operate, the new formula is just not as good. First, it doesn't smell like the classic baby shampoo we all know and love, so minus points there. Second, it doesn't wash off very easily. After washing my daughter, she gets rinsed, then playtime, and the bath is full of soapy water now with this new formula. She even cries now when I have to scrub it out of her hair which never happened with the old stuff which easily rinsed out. Bad changes in my opinion.

    Not Good!
Why in the world would you change the product and then make only the pump bottles available?? I was happy with Johnson's head-to-toe baby wash, it was far more superior to the new product and was the only soap that I used to use to bathe my great-nephew. The new bottle only being available with this horrible pump is a joke. Did you not research to realize this bottle is awkward, clumsy and difficult to use?....unless one prefers to consistently knock the bottle over trying to dispense an adequate amount of baby wash to cleanse a child, much less an adult! One more note: why do you ask if I'm a parent, allow me to select "no" then not let me post unless I post the age of my "youngest child"??

    Terrible New Formula
I've been using this product for many many years. After my doctor recommended it to me, I have a large pump in all of our bathroom showers for all family members young and old to use. After years of loving this no tears wash, I'm so sad to say the new formula burns our eyes and we can no longer buy this product.

    Reserving judgement
Began using baby wash after lengthy hospitalization and eventual colectomy. 2.5 yrs ago. My skin was very fragile. I just purchased new design bottle. Wondering if formula has changed. It doesn't lather the same. But I did notice 28ml less in the bottle, yet the price remained the same. Disappointing!!! Yet more profits for JnJ.
