Awesome sub...exceeded my expectations!
Great powered sub at an amazing price! I installed it myself in a 2017 Dodge Durango using the speaker level inputs (high inputs). I tapped into the speaker wires from behind the 8.4” display and got the power from the battery under the passenger seat, then hid the wires on the run to the cargo space. I stuck the bass knob on my driverside seatbelt with Velcro tape and put a extra soft strip on the other side to prevent scuff marks on the console. After about 1.5 weeks of break-in this sub sounds better and better. It pounds and punches pretty nice. Some lower notes don't hit as hard as I would like, but overall great product. It's hard to believe this is only 150 watts RMS. Planning on buying another one for my car. Actual rating 4.5 stars

Heard how good these sound, disappointed in mine
I installed one of these in my nephews car and was so impressed with the sound I immediately bought one for myself to replace the Rockford Fosgate/JL Audio combo I was running at the time. Much different results with the GT-Basspro12 I installed in my own vehicle. I can’t turn the volume or gain up hardly at all before the amp turns itself off. Turn the volume or gain down and the amp turns back on. Im a 41 year old guy that’s not trying to turn it up so loud I’m bothering those around my vehicle...but what I consider a respectable volume level, this thing isn’t handling. I’ve re-done the ground 5 different ways with the same result, so I’m confident the issue is not the ground. Any help would be appreciated because I’ve heard how good these things normally sound, I don’t want to just ditch this sub/amp.

    Inexpensive quality product
    This subwoofer is at best, I have this 3 years ago installed in my jeep but, I sold my jeep. Now this one in installed in my Honda Accord and it's doing well great bass, easy to install. I would recommend this product . FYI JBL is made by Harman Kardon one of the pioneers in Stereo sound system.

    Best investment I've made in years. It has made my cars existing system sound like a million dollars. I was not expecting what came out. Got more than I thought. If you are looking to compete this is not for you, if your looking to enjoy music as it is ment to sound, this is for you. Very happy, thanks jbl.

    One word....incredible.
    Want your jimmies rattled? Then look no further. This things gonna shake you to the core with the bass it puts out. And don’t even bother wearing socks while driving with this thing playing, cuz it’ll blow em right off. Amazing 2-in-1 unit, decent price, and the volume control knob is incredibly handy. Bass is very loud, deep, and clean. Highly recommend. Very fast shipping too, arrived in just 2-3 days.

    Best buy I've made in a very very long time!
    I'm in love with this speaker. It's way more powerful than I ever thought it would be, and its such a clean and controlled thump. Sounds awesome with any type of music. I simply added this speaker to my factory 2017 Camry, and it made all the difference in the world. Sounds like a $1000 system now.

    Great sound!
    It’s loud, and it will rattle your rear view mirror! I listen to varied styles of music. This sub can be adjusted to just about anything. You just have to take the time to make sound just thr way you personally want it. And it being all-in-one packege makes it very convenient.

    Amazing Bass
    After pondering back and forth for awhile on which sub to go with for my Ford Explorer, I ended up choosing this one. The simple setup and having the amplifier built in is what first caught my attention. The sub was rather easy to install and the included wired bass remote is a great feature. Setup was straightforward and the sub fits well in the cargo area. The bass and clarity is amazing now. I can't believe I waited this long to install one. I highly recommend this.

    Surprisingly Awesome
    Installed in my BMW 135i convertible. Running with an alpine head unit and speakers and in line alpine amp. This sub rounds off the system perfectly and gets loud for a small package. My previous car had 2 Dd audio 12s on a 1600 watt amp and was a beast. This is not show car loud but will get satisfyingly loud. My concern was power draw and trunk space and this sub fits the bill.

    Amazing bass in a deceptive package!
    This combination is perfect for addition to a stock car sound system as it is self contained in a compact smart package. From the auto power on to the built in high level inputs, the convenience is unbeatable. Over and above that, the sound is amazing! The remote level control is a must because this is simply too loud for conventional commute trips, but when you need to crank it up, it certainly turns heads! Be sure to check he youtube videos for the car shaking that this little sub can produce. The power ratings may seem low, but it will blow out conventional 1000W subs from other manufacturers. The built in amp shows no strain whatsoever, barely gets warm even on a spanking hot day, class D technology! No battery drain or dipping headlamps either. For this price, you will never get a sub woofer and amplifier of this quality and this is entry level JBL! Can only imagine what their premium subs can do, but this is MORE than sufficient for the average joe that isn't looking at sound competitions. The box and port are also premium quality, the slip stream port eliminates baffle noise completely and is perfectly tuned for the sub and amplifier. This plays low notes that I didnt know existed with some of my old music! Right down to 30hz is very audible, but the box and port are tuned to 45hz, which it loves. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
