Not worth the price, even at clearance.
NOT a $100 desk. More like a $50 desk. The reviews saying this desk is sturdy have to be kidding! The ease of assembly is nice, but this will not hold up to any collection of books. Even fully loaded with paper backs, it's at its limit. As a computer desk, it gets the job done, but there is a lot to be desired. The drawer has a cardboard bottom, which should be upgraded to a slab of wood in the future. Be warned that the screws on the bottom of the drawer securing the track will strip out of their holes eventually, and another implement will be needed. Over all, I regret not buying a different desk, as returning this will be a nightmare.

I needed a narrow desk for a small nonconforming bedroom/home office that could hold two monitors. I wanted solid wood with a hutch and storage and a pull out keyboard tray, but solid wood is expensive. This desk meets most of my needs while being economical. I will say the assembly took some time; I started on my own, and though I'm not mechanically inclined, I was able to follow the instructions as long as I went slowly and double checked everything. Ultimately I had to beg the husband for help because it gets wieldy to hold the bigger pieces steady while screwing then together (and a cordless drill is strongly recommended). The desk looks nice; everything lined up evenly, and nothing was damaged or missing.mochafusion

I was able to assemble it with some difficulty as the instruction booklet was mostly diagrams. The finished unit looks nice. I am having a problem with the drawer. When I open or close the drawer it catches on the retaining screws that anchor the slides. I can't tighten the screws any further without damaging the walls (one screw just turns in place). Thus, every time I open and close the drawer it catches slightly on the screws. Not sure how to remedy this glitch.NoviCruiser

Although the instructions are informative, you still have to guess at some things, as the pictures can be a little confusing. I also have mine on carpet, so i placed in a corner for more sturdiness, as it has a little side to side wobble, but a wall bracket will help. (and more solid floor) Small issues for such a great desk. i have a 27" monitor and a small desk lamp, and still have rooms for files and such. A little patience is all thats really needed! For the price, its better than expected.Catherine

What I did not like is instructions did NOT come with it and no where on the box did it say we needed to go to a website to get the instructions. That was the first problem. Second problem we were missing some screws, so we had to run to the hardware store to get these screws. Third problem we had make our own holes for some of it. It was more then I wanted to do, but hole where missing!! Thankfully my boyfriend was able to do so. Lastly don't bother calling the number to help you put this thing together no one ever called me back when we were wondering where the instructions was. Now back to my first statement. I do like the desk. It was a little wobbly but that doesn't bother me. It works for what I need it to do so that is what counts and matters. You will definitely have a project putting this together so I hope you like headaches.Ashley

The hardware for the hutch wasn't correct I could not get the dowel to go in . 2 screws on panel C broke into. You need at least 2 people to put it together. But other than that it seems ok .I wouldn't move in around to much though.joyce
