Its a beautiful desk. It took me time to put it together myself. One problem I had was with the drawers. The instructions are not detailed and the way they actually go is not the one in the instructions, After a little while I dropped the instruction and figured it out myself . Besides that the desk is really good.

Horrible hardware!!!
The assembly process was actually relatively fast, I was able to assemble it alone in under an hour. However, the hardware that was provided was faulty. It came with cam studs that are, in theory, supposed to expand upon insertion into a mating component. They did not expand, which means the desk comes apart even more easily than it went together. I am waiting on a reply from Inval about this, but I am disappointed in the quality of this desk.

    Nice desk. It will take 2 people to carry it and put it together. My main gripe is the instructions included. Especially for the drawers. The rails should have been labeled with number or letters. It took just as long to put the drawers together and install them as it took to assemble the rest of the desk. The drawer instructions should be more detailed. We got them in, but they don't close all the way.

    Decent Desk But Shipping May Be An Issue
    Just assembled the desk last night, took a bit over an hour. The directions are probably quite lacking for the non handyman type folks. Directions were ok for me except they are missing detailed placement of the drawer slides, these have many holes and can be placed in various locations. Inval needs to make the container to better withstand the shipping process. I had already received and returned 2 of these to Amazon due to the boxes coming apart and I was scared of missing parts. I figured I would try one more time to see if Walmart in store pickup could handle the heavier package better. The package was beat up pretty good when I picked it up and almost considered again returning it. Someone added reinforcements to the long corners of the box which made me fell better so they did do better than Amazons UPS shipping process but all blame here should really fall to Inval for not properly packaging a heavy bulky item intended for residential deliveries. No part of the desk was hurt in transit and no parts where missing, Inval did wrap everything in a shrink wrap cocoon inside the box. I am generally pleased with the quality, form and fit of the desk for it's price range. The small drawer slides are pretty chincy as compared to the filing drawer slides. Overall I am pleased with bang for the buck so far.

    Nice desk!
    This is a nice desk. However, my husband had a little bit of trouble understanding the instructions. The bottom drawer does not close all the way, but he says he can fix it. Other than that, very nice desk, perfect for our semi-crowded bedroom due to my office being in it.

    Confused Do It Yourselfer (DIY)
    It's a very nice desk but I had a little difficulty putting it together. I think there should have been a little more explicit explanation of the tracks for the drawers because the drawings were not very helpful, there were two different tracks and in my opinion it should have been numbered as how the other parts were, everyone is not mechanically inclined for the everyday do it yourselfer. These are supposed to be DIYS projects so I do think what comes with it should be a little more detail oriented and a bit more uniformed e.g. Step 1; Step 2; Step 3.
