It works
I was curious on the effectiveness of the product, I conducted a controlled environment experiment, with safety gear at my disposal. I poured a small amount of Heet into a small metal bowl and used a long fire starter to light it. Heet by itself ignited as expected. I then mixed a 50/50 (Heet/Water) mixture and Heet completely mixed with water as one, no separation. I used the fire starter and the mixture ignited, confirming that the mixture would ignite inside the combustion chamber of an engine. After the experiment, I mixed another 50/50 mixture and then poured an equal amount of gasoline to see if there was any separation. The gas and the 50/50 mix remain separated at all times, with the gas being lighter. As expected, the 50/50 mix is heavier and floats to the bottom. Based on this experiment, I believe Heet works as advertised. "Warning, Do Not Try This At Home" I am an experienced technician and used all safety precautions and equipment during the experiment. The experiment was conducted in an open air area with fire extinguishers and personal protective gear was worn at all times.

    The Poor Farm
    I use this with Premium Gasoline during winter months. Gasoline with Alcohol does not need it. Winters in Montana can get very cold and I don't want to be working on Frozen Gas Lines! I've used the Red Can for years and like it!

    Saved Me Hundreds of Dollars!!!
    This stuff has saved me a trip to the dealer after getting some BAD gas two different times! An out of town mechanic advised me to put some of this Heat in my gas tank after I explained to him what was going on with my van, and I didn't really have the money to take it to the dealer to have it checks out! I put this in my gas tank, ran the engine at idle for about 15 minutes and then put another bottle in the gas tank and drove the van for absolutely 20 minutes and then it was back to driving normal!!! I HIGHLY recommend using this Heat Gas Treatment!!!

    Pretty much a necessity in the winter
    Works great! I use it regularly in the winter. and this stuff is particularly good for old/used cars. Never had any issues with cold starts using it.

    I manage a fleet of 30 vehicles both gas and diesel. I can't take a chance that a vehicle will not start because of condensation forming ice in the fuel take. I encourage my guys to keep the tank full especially on Friday afternoons so they are full for the weekend. Using a product like HEET just makes sense. It's a very inexpensive way to avoid condensation and keep injectors clean. Great product at a great price.

    Walmart is the best price I've found on Heet after looking locally and online. Get the multi-pack for the best value, when I ordered it was a tremendous value. Works great to keep my vehicle running in the cold!

    Helps promote engine life
    Because ethanol gas has water in it plus condensation in the gas tank, this is an important product for protecting your vehicle's engine. I use a bottle with each fill up but Ive been told that a bottle every other fill up is sufficient.
