I got the work horse surprise out of this brand.
I first glance you would think this little baby to be intimidating. Trust me it just looks that way. Its a great sander for the price. If you don't like handling heavy tools. This one is your huckleberry it was built for those of us with limited mobility in our hand. I love the built in safety features. I needed this for little jobs around the house and small DIY projects. To my surprise this baby could handle my large projects like a pro. I'm very impressed by this brand this is my second item purchased from them. I thought about getting a Wen. Whrn I noticed they're always so many of them on sale on ebay. Never once had I seen any items of this brand on sale there or anywhere else. That spoken volume to me. No product that really worth keeping is ever sold in resale stores. Well with the acceptances of when a person upgrade their tools. No one seems to upgrade from this brand. I have other brands but they're just to heavy and cost way to much for me. This brand satisfies the working woman in me. You want something That's surprisingly uncharacteristicly good of new brand get yourself Hyper Tough products. The quality and workmanship of this brand is a pleasant surprise. Don't think that you need a bigger name brand to do the job. Don't get tricked by their name. This baby is built to work just like those power houses. It surely does. It will awaken the DIY fix it monster in you. I'm building my tool chest with this brand

OK for the price, spend more for something better.
Hyper Tough 2.5-Amp Orbital Sander, AQ20036G My orbital sander came and I put it right to work but: Sandpaper will not stay attached to the hook and loop system. I thought at first it was the sandpaper that came with the orbital sander but after purchasing new, quality hook and loop sandpaper, I still had the same issue! This sander is 16 dollars which means the next cheapest options is at least twice the price for a similar sander. You can't expect a $16 sander to perform any better than this one does. I did push it a lot so keep that in mind. It Broke, after just a few hours of use. It barely made it through 1 simple job of sanding a few beehives I wanted to sand to paint. It's infuriating. I didn't expect it to be great or last long, but this is absurd. It should be able to do at least 1 whole job. Make sure to check the box and verify it's not used I have read reviews saying they were covered in dust and didn't have sanding pads which is an indication to me that it may have been used. I can't say I recommend this product sorry I will give it 3 stars seeing it was cheap and did get the job done before going bad. Spend a little more and get something better.

    I'm a tradesman and a tool snob. I bought this lil 20$ sander with the intent of putting it through abuse that I didnt want to do to my high end sanders..this sander has out done any of my others..2 to 1..some 60grit is just ripping through my deck boards like its nothing..2ce as powerful as the blue store and way less than half the price..best 20$ I've spent in a long time..plus 2 more $ get the 2 yr warranty...who cares if I kill it I'll just get another..highly recommended

    Great tool for small jobs!
    The Hyper Tough orbital sander is a great tool for small sanding jobs. I have a couple of crates that I am turning into Storage and coffee tables and since these crates originally housed parts, they aren't exactly smooth. I used the orbital sander to smooth the splintered edges and rough surfaces. The only issue I have is getting into small corners so I have to do that manually or use a mouse sander with a pointed edge. This sander done a decent job of getting the rough areas smooth to the touch. So no splinters for when you run your hands over the top. This sander comes with a dust catching attachment, which does really well but of course doesn't get all the dust. There was plenty still everywhere and I did have to vacuum afterwards but it wasn't as much as it would have been had I left it off. It has an attachment to hook up to your vacuum and it's ok, you just have the hose attachment weighing you down so I chose not to use it. It comes with a few sanding discs that will velcro to the bottom of the sander. It comes with 60, 80 and 120 grit. It's light weight and not heavy on you while using. It has plenty of power and does the job well. Overall, I am very pleased with this sander and it will definitely help me on all my future projects. I can't wait to sand down and restore an old table and chairs. This is definitely an added bonus for my workshop.

    Good sander for small projects
    The orbital sander comes in handy for me as I like to do small projects with furniture. This is actually the first orbital sander I've tried, and I feel like it works better for me. I like how easy it is to place the sandpaper on to use. It's a Velcro type platform that you attach the sandpaper to. Although there is an attachment for dust collection , it still gets a little dusty. The power switch is very simple and the cord is long enough for me to reach my work area.

    Hyper Tough 2.5-Amp Orbital Sander
    I have been using this Orbital Sander for wood working only and have given it a good workout. So far I have no problems or complaints about this orbital sander. Great for sanding through coats of dried paint or varnish as well as fine sanding. It is a 120 volt corded sander with a six foot cord. The instructions have a chart for what gauge of extension cord to use according to the length of the extension cord. Precautions with outside and damp condition use. The sander is light weight at under three pounds. It has a 2.5 amp motor with 13,000 opm. The orbital sander comes with a dust bag as well as a vacuum hose adapter. They both work fine, I like to use the vacuum option, the least dust in the air the better. The sander only comes with three sanding papers ( 60-80-120 grit) and I do not know how many varieties of sanding paper are available. The sanding sheet area is 5 inches around. Extreamily easy to install the sanding paper with no tools needed, press on and pull off. Just make sure the holes in the sanding paper match the holes on the sander for correct dust removal. It fits in your hand good, I just wish it was more comfortable.

    My husband and I bought a house two years ago and we've spent aot of time reminding and repairing. We didn't however had a sander despite having tons of other tools. Now that I think about how man protects this would have hped with I kick myself for not getting one! Assembly was easy and only required you to attach the bag. The bag is handy for avoiding a huge mess. The sander does just what it says it will do. Lots of power and endless projects for this little guy! I haven't bought from this company before but their products seem great quality and that they will hold up well. I used this to sand my front door before painting. It worked great and made it go fast than hand sanding. I truly have found a dozen projects for this! Excited to get started! Highly recommend! Lots of power! Easy use!

    Powerful
    The Hyper Tough 2.5-Amp Orbital Sander is powerful and operates smoothly. This sander well come in handy when I get around to sanding the replacement hood to my pickup. My wife and I are planning to remodel our kitchen. We may opt to keep the cabinets and use this sander to refinish them. I was concerned about finding replacement sandpaper discs. However, this is not a problem because there are plenty of choices on the Walmart.com website.

    Powerful Sander
    The Hyper Tough Orbital Sander is powerful and has a comfortable grip for continuous use. The sand paper attaches with velcro for easy application and removal. 3 sheets of sand paper are included (60, 80 and 120 grit) so you can trial each level of sand paper. The powerful 2.5-Amp motor allows you to apply more pressure if needed, without the motor losing any power. The dust bag is included, as well as an adaptor to attach your vacuum if needed for dust removal. You can see how great it finished a piece of our old ladder in the before and after pictures that I attached and this was using 60 grit. This sander is well worth the cost and it is a must-have, essential tool for your garage.

    I have the 2.5-amp Orbital Sander that is made by Hyper Tough. This sander comes with one orbital sander that has a six foot cord, one dust bag, one vacuum hose adapter, and three sanding papers in 60, 80, and 120 grit. The sander is 120 volts and 60Hz and 13,000 orbits per minute (OPM). The sander is a nice weight weighing in at about 2.62-lbs or 1.19kg. This is a powerful little sander that should get the job done. The 13,000 orbits per minute makes your sanding project seem effortless. I love the six foot cord as it gives you plenty of room to maneuver around your project. The sander has a soft exterior that provides a comfortable grip, which allows for better control while sanding. The soft exterior also helps to lower the vibrations felt by the user, which reduces fatigue in the arm. Maintaining a nice consistent contact with your work creates less vibration marks on your project. There is a covered power switch on the front of the sander. The sand paper is easy to install and aligns to the base and stays firmly in place. It takes the five inch hook back paper sand paper that has vent holes which allows for efficient dust extraction. The dust feeds into the dust collection bag that is included with the sander.
