handy to have
this is another handy tool to have to help doing oil changes or any type of filter or cartridge changes , this is a all metal tool and you use a 3/8 ratchet in it to remove filters, does not work to tighten filters on

    I'd buy it again if I had to
    Pretty sure its built at the same plant that makes filter wrenches for Husky and Performace Tool. Side by side, they all look identical. Most of the negative reviews for this product are from people who don't know what an O2 sensor is.

    Exactly what I needed!
    Not too long ago I purchased an Husqvarna riding mower. The time came for the first oil and filter change. Couldn't budge the filter. Believe it was installed without lubricating the gasket. The Hyper Tough Adjustable filter wrench easily loosened it. Excellent piece of equipment!

    Super versitile filter wrench.
    If your looking for one filter wrench to keep in the garage at home for low volume personal use, this is it! Its design is very versatile in that it will work with multiple filter diameters. Its not of super beefy construction so might not be well suited to being abused removing filters that have been over tightened! Its worth noting that this filter wrench design is not capable of tightening an oil filter, it is intended for removal only. This is not an issue as most spin on oil filters only need to be tightened down by hand. One minor negative I noticed during use is the stamped steel construction does have a few sharp/unfinished edges. Be careful and wear gloves!

    Works pretty good
    I am writing this review on the Hyper Tough 3-Jaw Adjustable Filter Wrench. This tool worked great. I was able to get to a tough to reach oil filter. I was able to attach a 3/8 extension and socket wrench. You could also use a power tool with a 3/8 adapter. I highly recommend this product!

    This style of filter wrench is the best!!
    This style of filter wrench is the best on the market and the best and easiest Toyota ever find. As far as this particular brand of the best filter wrench on Earth oh, this brand is actually built very well I have used it twice since I have been giving it as a tool to sample. Full disclosure I already owned this exact tool but in a different brand and I've always used this tool to remove my engine oil filters when I change the oil on my vehicle it is very very easy and it does the job precisely. As far as this brand that I am giving a review on today it's built very well I love how it has this protective rubber on the ends of the legs because that helps grip the filter and provides a little bit of sturdiness so the oil filter Breaks Loose with ease. I would highly recommend this style of engine oil filter Ranch and this particular brand of engine oil filter wrench to my friends and family! And I suggest you out go out and buy you one too!!

    Good for lawn equipment
    I am a small engine mechanic. I enjoy using this design on mowers that have easily accessible filters. I often don't have the room on many zero turn mowers to use this but it works well on most lawn tractors. I have had this slip on oil covered filters. These work well for filters that are just a little too tight to spin off by hand but you don't want to get mid evil on and crush the filter. I often try these before going to more aggressive tactics. These are perfect for the person that puts there filters on by hand and not so much for people using tools that let you ad more torque than necessary.

    Easy to use - good quality
    very easy to use and fitted into the side mount filter on a 59 Ford T-bird 390 (VERY tight filter to get to) - neighbor already borrowed it for his dodge pickup. Highly recommended BUT note that it does tend to crush the Fram canisters (this is because they are very flimsy, not the wrench).
