Hyper Tough 4-Shelf Plastic Shelving Unit
Today I will be reviewing the Hyper Tough 4-Shelf Plastic Shelving Unit. I was looking for some additional storage space in my basement, so this looked like a perfect fit. It's 30" wide and about 52" inches tall, four good sized shelfs gave me plenty of room to get Items off the floor and give me some extra needed floor space. It is made of heavy-duty plastic that supports 70 pounds of weight per shelf. It went together in a snap with no tools required. I was able to carry it after it was fully assembled into the basement with no problem It felt like it weighed about 5 pounds total. I am totally satisfied with this product and would recomend it to others!

Item arrived broken
In spite of being wrapped in all of its original packing, it was broken in 3 places. We decided to keep it since the shelves were intact. The broken parts were on the edges. Since we are using this in the garage, we'll let it go this time to avoid the hassle of a return. However, PLEASE check your items for breakage before sending them out.

    It came broken. I received the shelf weeks ago but I just cleared the space I wanted to put it in. I thought it was bigger but said, oh well this will do. I started opening the packaging and noticed broken pieces. I saw it was the very first shelf that would be right under the labels. I saw the side was chipped pretty badly but as I turned it over I noticed the top of the shelf had a chunk missing and it's cracked pretty badly. I'm not sure if it was sent out like this from the vendor or if it happened in transit.

    Lightweight and easy install
    I am impressed with his light weight shelves.. They are super easy to put together. I can pick them up and move them to another part of the house or garage with ease, yet they are sturdy. These shelves can hold a lot. They will make a great addition to the garage, where they are best suited. My favorite thing about this shelving unit is that they won't let spills soak in and ruin them.

    Perfect for guestrooms
    I had family over for the holidays and they stayed in my guest room but I don't have any closets in there so I put this up by myself, which was extremely easy, and my guest were able to put their clothes on it and stuff. This can definitely be used for a bunch of different stuff.

    I wasn't sure what to expect from this shelving unit, having tries plastic shelves in the past that very quite rickety, but I was pleasantly surprized! My 13 year old son put them together and we are using them for toy storage. They are a good size for our closet. They feel sturdy, but I will note that since they are lightweight, a child could easily pull them down if they were destructive or someone who climbs on everything. Otherwise, they work pretty well!

    Four tier garage shelves
    I am really happy this four tier storage shelf unit was not cheap and flimsy. I opened the box and was surprised how heavy and durable the plastic was. It was also very easy to put together I just put the legs into each panel and stacked them on top of each other. I used a hammer to knock the legs down into place and they stayed tight. Once I stacked them all up and it was together I moved it in one piece out to my garage. It is very light to move anywhere. Once I had a place for it in the garage I decided to use it for shoes and clutter that was laying around in my garage. It was also sturdy enough to hold five gallon filled water jugs on the bottom shelf. This piece made organizing easy and I would recommend this shelf to anyone considering purchasing this. The plastic is easy to wipe off and clean. Overall I would give a five star on this product.

    Super easy to put together
    No instructions included, but none are needed. Pretty simple to put together. We just took a rubber mallet to really secure the shelves in place. Light enough to move around. I put it in my she shed. I would put something heavy on the bottom and top shelves to keep it from tipping over. My totes wouldn't fit on it as the height in between shelves is not high enough. So I just ended up putting miscellaneous boxes on it. Doesn't take up too much space and is handy for the garage, shed, craft room, or closet.

    Shop Shelves, Flower Bench, Work Bench and More!
    The Hyper Tough Garage Shelves are heavy-duty, stable, and strong. They make an excellent set of basement or garage shelves. Each shelf is about 3 inches thick and sits about 14 inches higher than the lower shelf. You can easily build a traditional set of 5 shelves or do much more. I built two sets of two shelves each and used them as potted plant benches. They are excellent for the greenhouse, outdoor summer use, or inside my house all year round. The second shelf of the bench sits about 14 inches above the floor which is an ideal height for plants. The lower shelf I use for a watering can, fertilizer, a gallon jug of water, etc. A set of three shelves makes a bench about 28 inches high which is ideal for working on when I am standing upright. I may get a second set and use it for an outdoor potting bench. The two shelves underneath the bench top can hold potting soil, extra pots, garden tools, etc. Each shelf has four holes precisely drilled in the back. Two are drilled at 16 inches on center and two at 24 inches on center. The holes allow you to screw the shelf to wall studs in your basement or garage. Most studs are 16 inches on center. I have used a lot of plastic shelving and the Hyper Tough brand is the best and most versatile yet. I expect to get many years of use from them.

    Only took 2 minutes to set up! Love the lite weight of this shelving garage unit. As you can see in my pictures how messy my garage is. Now time to start organizing! This unit has 4 shelves and now i think i shouls go woth a bigger size. these are great but my garage is pretty big. They are sturdy enough for average garage items.

    Sturdy Plastic Shelf
    Sturdy, plastic shelves. Not a tall shelf, good for small spaces with low ceilings. Has good amount of space between shelves and works perfectly for what I need. Not sure about how it will do with heavy items. Easy to take apart or move to another part of the house.
