Right wheel started to smoke after 10 mins of use. The styrofoam melted and left burnt plastic smell in the house. Stay away or have a fire extinguisher ready.

    so think twice...
    They are very pretty. But cheaply made. Ours was chipped during shipping. and I would go with the $79.00 only reason I choose this one was for the weight limit for my children and Bluetooth capability. My son is 13 and and my daughter is 15. They didnt want to return them.

    Play toy for the Kids at Mardi Gras Parades
    We just recently purchased this product for our children to ride up and down the streets during the Mardi Gras season while waiting on the parades to come. The kids went online and picked this particular one out due to the add stating it is bluetooth compatible, allowing them to be able to listen to music while they ride, and also due to an app that allows you to control the lights, ETC... from your phone on this particular hoverboard. The exact site and add we bought the product from stated all these extra features were on and compatible with the device we purchased on this exact site. When we received the hoverboard via UPS a day ago we immediately charged it up. After it was ready we connected our phone and then downloaded the app only to be completely disappointed and watch our childrens' faces go from super excited to super disappointment due to the fact that, even though it states on the site its app enabled, the app did not work at all with this hoverboard. The only truthful statement was that it is bluetooth capable. Why would a company state such a thing only to get kids hopes up, then turnaround and disappoint them? Children are supposed to be their main audience. Our kids immediately wanted us to exchange this one for another one that actually does what it states it is going to do, because its the main reason we bought the product in the first place. As parents it gave us a little bit less of a worry being able to control the lights on the hoverboard through the app on our phone while they ride waiting on the parade, because when evening time came we could turn the lights on to keep them safe. Also, gave us a sense of security because the kids wouldn't have to worry about fidgeting with their phones to turn on the lights while riding. Which again could cause them possible harm due to the distraction it would cause. We have ridden this hoverboard for a total of about 3 to 5 minutes inside since we received it. As soon as we figured out this issue, the kids were bummed because now we have to not only find another online that does what we thought this one did, but we also have to wait until we get a refund on this device to afford another one. Lastly, wait to get it delivered and finally charge it up for 5 hours! Other than the fact that the device that we bought on this site was NOT what we thought we were purchasing, its a pretty decent hoverboard. We REALLY fell in love with this one particularly, but cant keep it due to the fact that if were going to spend this much on something then we should get EXACTLY what were looking for, extra amenities and all or we will never be completely satisfied. So, PLEASAE Hover=1 CHROME company all I ask is to kindly state your products truthfully, with the right extra additions that come enabled with the exact series hover bord and not make the consumer believe they are buying a product that in fact they really will not receive because thats just plain WRONG!!

    Good Hoverboard but false picture of app support.
    Smooth and easy to drive. Looks elegant. Balancing is good. Light is not as much it shows in picture. It connects with bluetooth and plays music. Tires are good. Overall its a good hoverboard and I will recommend others. Giving it 3 stars because of its wrong picture, in picture it says app controlled, but there is no support for Chrome in app, you can't control light or anything from app, as it does not have Hover app support.
