Only changes colors once
Bought a 2-pack of these. Originally the care are a like green color, and when we put them in cold water, the green faded off and the cars were a different color. Putting them in hot water never worked though- they stayed the original colors. Very disappointing as they were $6 a piece.

    Will not work well in some color shifters cars
    Only works for sedans to appreciate color change. Will not work with pick up trucks r other type of cars

    Such a cool little car
    This color shifter car was a success with my little guy. He is a car enthusiasts and loves to collect and play with them. He loved that when added to ice water the gold accents on the hood and top of the car turn a dark blueish black! He said WHOA mom, that's neat! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Fun toy
    My son and I were super excited to try out a car from the Hot Wheels Color Shifters collection. The car is of course great quality as I'd expect from Hot Wheels iconic brand. It is durable and the wheels roll perfectly so it's a great little racecar. The color shifting does work, it just isn't as dramatic as we were expecting. Still, all in all, it's a fun little toy.     Fun for kids who like playing in water
    My son recieved this color changing Hot Wheels and thought the design was cool. It changed color between gray and orange. Changing it with warm water was easy but changing with ice water was a little different. As soon as you take it out of ice cold water it changes almost instantly.     Fun color change
    My son loves cars and adding any new one to his collection can always keep him busy, but the color changing feature has my son always wanting to play with this. Cool little hatchback that changes between white and blue with really warm and cold water. I think anything that includes water gets kids excited so this is definitely a cool concept. Can get a little messy but water is just water so can't mad at that. The car is made with a mix of plastic on the exterior part of car and diecast on the bottom. Pretty sturdy car that's keeping up from a few high falls to tile floors. My son loves this car and looks forward to playing with it.     Lasting Fun!
    The hot wheel car is very sturdy and holds up to rough play. Even my cute little terror hasn't been able to break it with a month of play. We love that it color changes depending on the temperature of the water. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star instead of five is the orange car changes colors but it is very subtle and hard to tell without a side by side comparison of the color change.
